It's crazy how Beneath The Heavens influenced the wave of "conscious every man" hip hop that took hold of the genre within the last few years (Cole, Kendrick, KRIT, early Drake, etc).

i've noticed that lately. it's fine if you don't like hip hop and it's not your thing.

Blu stannery is the worst. Dude has the most mediocre track record. Without Exile that dude wouldn't be shit. Exile is the reason Below The Heavens and Give Me The Flowers.. are good.

Blu has some good mixtapes without Exile, but I agree Little Brother should actually get more credit. Also I'd recommend Shad's TSOL for anyone that likes Kendrick Lamar.
I don't get why people are so into sports, but I'm a very very light fan. People identify with teams like they're actually on the squad and influencing the game directly, it's kind of pathetic. I also don't get why athletes make so much money to play a meaningless game that has absolutely no bearing on anyone's life.

While I agree to some degree, in that we pay them way way waaaay too much. There is some merit in them getting paid decent money to play a sport at a level 99.9% of us could never play at. People who excell at their talents get paid to do so and share that talent with the rest of us. Watching someone perform at such a high skill level is entertaining and on occasion mind blowing. I don't mind athletes getting paid good money for doing something the vast majority of other people can't do. But good money and "Jesus Christ thats third world country GDP" type money are different things.
I agree with finding people who take sports way too seriously to be bizarre though. I enjoy following the NBA and catching games when I can, and I understand die hard fans of teams, but people who get angrily aggressive about their sports and act like they are part of the team and talk about "we won!" sound stupid as fuck. You didn't win shit, they did, you just sat there and repressed your broken dreams of being a star athlete.

I'd give Blu credit over Little Brother simply due to being more of a solo rapper than a group, but I can see both arguments.

Yeah, I'd rather follow individual storylines than teams. People like teams because they can rock/identify with their apparel etc. though which I understand.
My brother is a huge sports head but looks at me all kind of crazy when I'm watching fighting game streams though lol Hard to appreciate mindgames when your fascinated more with athleticism.

Just came out the Yeezus tour in Houston definelty the best concert I've been to some funny ass quotables from his rants " What's Walt Disney's bitch look like ?!!!!l" Scarface in attendance mike dean djing Tony Williams singing bound 2 at the end. Kendrick was good wasn't as live as the black hippy tour back in June but the production values and sound systems were better plus he had a live guitarist.
+1 on Shad. Dude is dope.

I'm a massive Dre stan and I've given up caring a long time ago. Even Dre said himself he felt he was only doing it out of obligation and decided not to pursue it when he feels that way.
