Pretty forgettable "I'm richer than you" tripe from Drake, as per usual. Personally I don't think Kendrick should respond.

Dunno why TDE staff are reacting on twitter, fuck that. They wasted 2013, and if not for Control no one would be talking about them.

ROFL

Drake tapped him up...

meh. Yet no one is saying shit on twitter, a brief look at forums/blogs and I didn't see any "oh shit" responses, etc.

I'll give Drake dap for that Jordan line, it was beyond dope. The problem is that Drake continues to show how little he understood Control. The "I have more x than you" schtick is tired, everyone knows Drake is "bigger." But is he better? That's the question.

The whole I am better than you thing is fairly worn out too...

But both are the staple of hip-hop beef

TDE is reacting cause they shook a bit...

Guess GAF isn't a forum...

It wasn't about telling KDot that he's "bigger"- it was about telling him that they're playing in different leagues. There wasn't any "oh fuuuuck" responses, because that wasn't the point.

The point was to be like, swatting a kid brother out of your way and telling him to go play in his sandbox and stop bothering you.

It's like being a better baseball player but in triple A

If he wanted to hit him with a takeover type thing he needed a little more meat on it. The style was right but you need more jokes/funny shit.

If he had said a "you little fukk i got money stacks bigger than you" type line i would have lost it

hahaha, okay yeah that would have been 10000x better

Fuck that

Calling rappers out by name is beef

Trying to spin like K-dot did is botch-made

No spin, it was quite obvious he was doing the whole "im goat" line that every rapper does, just in a different way. You obviously disagree, but the artist behind the song and plenty of listeners agree on something else.

GAF's reaction is mixed, although thread in the OT is pretty anti Drake right now lol...

TDE's team is pretty damn dumb, at least on twitter. Constantly talking shit about everything, while letting 2013 waste away lol.

It's gonna be sad when Kendrick bombs next year and Drake puts out some passive aggressive shit.

TDE has how many members on their label? And how many dropped anything of note? They deserve all the low record sales they get, because 'wasted opportunity" doesnt quite get the epic "L" that label took this year, especially with it housing one of the hottest names in rap.

The dude they just signed, Isaiah Rashad, has a tape coming in December supposedly.

Dudes got anti hype. You think theyd throw that guy a bone or something.

I am the goat and a b c d e f g... rappers need to catch up is going cause beef if you agree with the spin or not...

You guys are jumping the gun so damn hard on TDE. They literally just got the ball rolling with Kendrick and y'all are claiming it's all over. Shake my damn head.

The biggest (only? hyperbole like crazy in here) L they took was not putting Q out earlier, and that situation is definitely rectifiable and not the end of the road for Q. Nobody is expecting Q to become the next Jay-Z or Kendrick or some shit but a respectable level of success is definitely attainable.

If anything 2013 was a W because Kendrick made sure to let everyone know he is still a force, and as an influential power, he's still got power that can trickle down to his labelmates. 2013 solidified Kendrick. He doesn't have to drop a project and his mainstream presence and outreach is only skyrocketing.

Since when is TDE a big label though? They fucked up 2013, but a W for them is dropping dope projects. If Oxy isn't good, then 2013 is going to look even worse.

Don't even know what is expected.

Edit: pretty much what Enzo said.

Its not over, but they had the hottest year in 2012, and then they follow it up with... a fucking K dot verse?

They need to think bigger. If it were MMG, they'd have a collabo album out or something, and q would have dropped something.
