lmao placing a million dollar bet on the battle knowing damn well he doesn't have that. Dude cracks me up never fails
And he said at SM3 he was going to give out 4 million dollars on stage, this guy man.

It's expensive to throw the events and he knows damn well by now people will bootleg the PPV so he's trying to squeeze out every cent.

I don't know why people would still buy tickets to the live event though knowing all the random shit that's ruined the past events be it Math punching Jones, Goodz nailing somebody in the crowd with his liquor bottle, or the general technical issues like mics being jacked up or the audio not reaching the whole crowd.
TBH the people on the card are pretty professional outside of Daylyt, and I don't think Daylyt would do anything that would affect anyone else's ability to perform. Like Smack said, 4 years of URL without violent incidents and those were primarily Math. I wouldn't expect it from this event.

Arsonal came up with a crude way to sell out the venue but it'll work I think. Simple math, sell 1000 tickets at $100, and you've got a 100k. I bet Surf, Calicoe and Holla all took pay cuts too.

UW seems to have stepped their shit up but they have no experience throwing an event in a venue this big and URL has shown audio is not something to take light. Audio is definitely the biggest worry here, and they better thoroughly test that shit. I don't want UW fucking up match of the forever.

Enzo, I blame you if my grades drop next semester. You got me hardbody into this shit. I didn't go to sleep til 4 cuz I was watching random battles
I'm telling you man.. battle rap is addictive. And it only gets sweeter the more you watch it because you'll pick up references to other battles or battle rappers. You'll grow an appreciation for people you thought were wack initially or might even start liking dudes who you got a bad exposure to first. There's usually a good reason why someone is popular, and on the flipside you always have the hungry newcomers trying to expose the bullshit from the old class.

Eventually you'll be able to pick up on Arsonal being clowned for being a school bus driver, O-Red saving and kissing hoes, Math allegedly knocking out Mook, etc.

$5 on Amazon. I've never listened to Digable Planets before but I LOVED Black Up so don't expect to be disappointed. Bout to eat.

Dumb question but I don't know how to pronounce their name. Hard or soft G in Digable?

Enzo, whenever a new video drops, lets watch it in plug. I'm hype for 2014

Also, my personal most entertaining top 5 as of the stuff I've watched

B magic
Hollow da don
Daylyt
Charron
Human Holla

Kastrioti

Persecution Complex
I was listening to Pandora Kendrick Lamar today and they played some of those diss songs from no names like Meek Mills which I immediately skipped.

But it got me to listening to the greatest east coast diss song of all time:

Westside Connection - All The Critics in NYC

One of the all time classic west coast albums, and it came out in 1996 right at the height of the East/West beef before Pac and BIG were killed. Shit, WC and Ice Cube were beefing with Cypress Hill, Suge was beefing with everyone etc.

I'm going thorough thru your borough
Wit my Raider jacket and my jheri curl, gangstas rule the world
On the west, nevertheless, W-S
We got the bomb and you niggas got the stress

Fuck all the critics in the N-Y-C
Tryin to get an East hip-hop monopoly
But I've been writing gangsta shit since '83
When y'all was still scared to use profanity

As much as these youngsters today try to start a East/West beef (or any beef for that many) it will never, ever get as personal and real early 90's till after Biggies death. Damn shame we had to lose two all time greats over bullshit.

Still though, west coast does have the bomb and east stays smoking stress till this day.

I've only listened to Blowout Comb, but I've got it on regular rotation. Excellent album.

I still love those Metal Fingers compilation records as much as when I first heard em. Shit always puts me in a good ass mood no matter what.

Might need to start thinking about collecting them all on vinyl.

Yah, always said it as dig-able planet. Both albums are fantastic, although I still think reachin is better. Both are albums I completely forget about and then someone reminds me and I rebuy them and enjoy the fuck out if them all over again.

Seen him live and met him at Soundset. I can get down to that shit if I'm in the right mood

You should make it out to Soundset once btw, it's a Rhymesayers pilgrimage.

Drake yelling all over Trophies.. sounding like a poor mans Big Sean

A poor man's...big sean????!!!! What the hell does that even look like. That's like saying a poor man's herpes. Or a poor man's punch to the dick. It's hard to imagine something as bottom feeding as big Sean having a "poor version".

Lol, I mean, I'm no fan of drake, I think 98% of what he makes is so is tissue paper soft that a strong fart could melt it away, but big Sean is just..... There are two overall classes of rappers on my mind. Dudes who at the very least understand the musical nature of rap and can write a song, stay on beat, and come up with a decent hook. And then the bush league rappers who can barely stay on beat, have lyrics written by 11 year olds with delusionals of thugdom, and don't understand a fucking thing about making music. Big Sean is around the bottom of that first category of rapper. Once a while his understanding of music creation results in a song I can enjoy like guap or milf, but for the most part he is just a bench warmer who does cart wheels and shit when he is sent onto the court with 40 seconds left, which results in people paying attention even if he doesnt deserve it most of the time.

Shit I am too fucking drunk to really make an ounce of sense right now.
