So I'm watching Fringe and the similarities to Bioshock are a little too on point...
This is why Ferg is gonna go far man. Weed carriers past and present need to recognize. Play ya position, become a gawd.
SMH. I remember when it was uncool to like Ferg on gaf and Rocky was the "One".
same here. clams made him so interesting, but he abandoned most of that and his best tracks usually sound clam like.Well yea, then one of them put out mostly mediocre debut album and the other put one out that fucking knocks.
To be fair though, from jump I've always stated I only liked the first half a dozen tracks on LiveLove. I'll listen up to Purple Swag, skip down to Leaf then im done with the tape. Clams made Rocky for me + Brand New Guy.
I thought SGP beats made him interesting too.same here. clams made him so interesting, but he abandoned most of that and his best tracks usually sound clam like.

Couldn't tell you. It's JJ abrams so i never bothered. Dude is trash.*
*the star trek blockbusters are ok.
i tried to watch Fringe but i got bored in like 4 episodes. switched to The West Wing and i'm pleased.
Yeah normally I think toku tv recs are on point but this show is just boring as fuck to me. Moved on to rewatch of xfiles instead
You know those days where you wish you had a fucking gun to off yourself so you wouldn't have to bother anybody else with your existence
Yea one of those days
What I noticed about (my) life is that it just keeps getting worse and worse. No light at the end of the tunnel. Anything good that happens has to be balanced by something bad. Last good day I had, ended with me finding out my dad has cancer. The only reason I keep myself on this planet is because I wouldn't want my mom to be sad without me. If anything ever happens to her I'm 100% gone from this planet.
Man I fucking said, Fringe doesn't hit it's stride 'til late season 2 when we get episodes like Tulip, Peter and Northwest Passage.
Basically when they learned that they couldn't do compelling Monster of the week shit but were good at powerfucl character driven scifi.
I always say this when I "reccomend" Fringe.

Nah Lux blacked out. 2nd round is my favourite, it builds up though, I don't like the guard dog and job core lines near the beginning. It's Lux talking that shit why he's unfuckwittable and a myth, and he knit all three personal rounds together like no one else. What he's saying is always relevant and the way it was constructed and delivered was pretty creative when there wasn't crazy wordplay all throughout. Lux isn't a scheme rapper, normally not a personal rapper either but every line cut deep.Cmon brah, you need more than that. You need a distinctive sound, the ability to write the right kind of songs, a certain voice, and a look. Loaded Lux looks like an xbox 360 Redguard preset in Oblivion character creator.
edit: now that ive watched more battle rap, think Calicoe vs. Lux is not really that great. It's a bodybag, but it doesn't really have that full unadulterated sonning feel until round 3. Round 2 is mostly just calicoe starting to come really wack and Lux building up steam... But it's with some pretty standard bars.
Slogans are so inoffensive and only really add personality to battles, I don't know how they take away from anything, hell Goodz brings lines back too. Goodz getting twisted in battles may help his image but it's a problem still if Mr. Professional kept drinking and drinking while Hollow was killing him to the point where he chucked his bottle into the crowd out of frustration.Goodz walking around with that Hennessey bottle is an image gimmick. And it's certainly better than all these dudes putting the same tired ass slogan bars in every battle.
Keep your head up man, things always get better man. You cant succumb to this mentality or else you will make yourself make it so rather than cherish what you can in life. You know those days where you wish you had a fucking gun to off yourself so you wouldn't have to bother anybody else with your existence

I just can't buy Pacey as a roguish badass, especially when he just whines about his daddy issues every 5 fucking minutes. Fuck you Pacey.

I knew this going in because of your recommendation and I just finished Peter today.. Holy shit what a fuckong great episode. But yeah it took a whole to get into, definitely something you should probably go through as fast as possible to get to the good stuff. Definitely worth it.Man I fucking said, Fringe doesn't hit it's stride 'til late season 2 when we get episodes like Tulip, Peter and Northwest Passage.
