I like it more now than when I first heard it, but it's the same to me as Take Care; A song or two I really like, some ok songs and some trash.
I forgot all about that album. Only listened to it once. I'll re-listen to it in a bit.

OG Strider on Genesis was my Super Mario Bros as a kid. It was the only game I had for a good solid year at least.
When they make Occullus Rift 5 and Unreal Engine 7 let's you create games with your thoughts, I'm gonna make the most bad ass remake of that game. Those fucking sword slashes and giant fucking robot monsters. Damn. Game is sooo good in my head, but when I go back and play it I just put it down to keep the memories good. It's still fucking bad ass. I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking we'd surely hit the pinnacle of computer game graphics. It was over.

In an alternate universe, Capcom is still an amazing dev/publisher and they gave Platinum Games an insane amount of money to make a new Strider game and everything was okay.
The new Strider looks really good though.

it really is their fault, yeah. to play devil's advocate, i read something about Hiryu being a joint creation between their artists & some manga ones, so there's so weird issue of shared royalties that keeps m'man outta the limelight, but thankfully MvC community has demanded him for years, i think that shit helped.

i traded some BS genesis games for that & ESWAT at one of those mom-n-pop videos inna day that had the beads leading to the adult section and shit, i was so sure the screens on the back of the box were some arcade bullshots...NOPE, popped it in and didn't play much else for months, still in my top 5 of that entire gen

Yep. The Shield still has my favorite ending of any of these "modern" dramas. That whole last season is fucking BRUTAL.
I'm about halfway through Season 1 so far, and while I like the show so far, the way each episode has a conclusion for whatever crime they're solving that episode and is wrapped up all nice and pretty when the hour is done is disappointing. Makes it seem CSI-like. The Wire wins in that regard, and also for the writing and acting.

Guys i had the most fucking unbelievable burrito last night. fried marinated pork, spanish rice, beans, and a deviled egg blended up inside. So simple yet so brilliant. And it had queso on the side. If this joint wasnt ~30 minutes away i'd honestly go and get another.
