Guys i had the most fucking unbelievable burrito last night. fried marinated pork, spanish rice, beans, and a deviled egg blended up inside. So simple yet so brilliant. And it had queso on the side. If this joint wasnt ~30 minutes away i'd honestly go and get another.
This is the only place I seen his death mentioned. R.I.PMazaradi fox was shot and killed in Queens. If anyone even remembers him in here.
There was a couple of his songs I liked
That track was so good. Had a great song with prodigyThis is the only place I seen his death mentioned. R.I.P
Damn, been a while since "pop my heaters."
Finally got around to listening to it all the way through. That new Ryan Hemsworth tape is fuego.
Yep. The Shield still has my favorite ending of any of these "modern" dramas. That whole last season is fucking BRUTAL.
Squandered potential and build up. And I mentioned, dude probably won at the end of the day, but the album itself is an L considering the build up. One of the biggest of Jay's career.I don't like Mchg but how was that an L? That shit ass song holy grail was huge and the album made him good money
Remember you're talking to a Kanye stan. Having the biggest instaplat rap album of the summer and one of the biggest singles of the year by any artist is an L. A W is a year of exposing your half baked social commentary in interviews, failing to chart on radio, effectively blackballing yourself from an industry where you want to make waves in the future, and getting outsold and outcharted by Jermaine Cole.I don't like Mchg but how was that an L? damn fam took that personal as hell, I even said dude probably had the W but you had to slurp on the the numbers over quality argument too just to be at peaceRemember you're talking to a Kanye stan. i hope you recover soon
You can take an L and still be winning in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure his finances are just fine, doesn't mean his invulnerable to Ls especially in a medium where there are metrics other revenue, although when you are severely lacking in other areas you might be tempted to deemphasize those and emphasize whatever you are doing good at.But if you winning, how do you take an L?
Nothing personal, just laying the facts down on the table to give you some perspective.damn fam took that personal as hell, I even said dude probably had the W but you had to slurp on the the numbers over quality argument too just to be at peace

Pretty much all of those people that took Ls this year are winning in one dimension or another. But Ls are still held regardless.
I'm not dropping knowledge, that's what it is. If your favourite team fucks up hard a season, they hold that L, even though they might have the greatest track record there is. Microsoft squanders the X1/W8 marketing and product, they hold the L yet their revenues/profit are going up. How many more analogies do you want? This is flabby and sick. I don't even like Jay Z but you trying to drop knowledge on the ins and ous of Ls is weak.
Its been a deranged year for Kanye stans breh. This dudes interviews been having them saying some wild shit like he made polo shirts popular. Honestly it's pretty fascinating. If I was Ye I'd probably cash out of the game now before I say something about jews that will have the media crucify me(and they should). Dude really has the ability to start a cult if he wanted. Building pyramids outside of chicago like York. This is flabby and sick. I don't even like Jay Z but you trying to drop knowledge on the ins and ous of Ls is weak.
What L did Drake take? lol.
Drake didnt really take one at all. He caught some feelings. Its understandable though, having someone who put you on telling you to step your shit up is pretty galling. But he still had a great year objectively speaking. I didnt care for NWTS but you'd have to be kidding yourself if you think him getting mad about a verse outweighs the career building he did this year. And honestly? First year of his where I actually fucked with some of his verses. What L did Drake take? lol.
Lil Wayne's Emmit Till line fuckup was last year, right? That's up there with UOENO.
Also the Future thing, which was a byproduct of it all.Catching all the feelings after Control.
Gucci gets my vote. Nothing touches that level of emotional exposure and direct related losses in business and musical relationships. He will never get most of those back and his stock has fallen unbelievably far when his right hand man has rocketed past him.Gucci's twitter fuckery is up there. (missed that you typed it already)
edit:
Eh. I dunno. Drake didn't take an L nearly as large as anyone else, if that's what happened. That pales in comparison to Kanye's nonsense.
Kanye cant take L of the year. On aggregate, he has the AOTY taking into account all the major music lists. His tour made a toonn of money.
Q is L of the year.
Well put.why ya'll stay on pop-GAF criteria for W's and L's ill never know. shit isn't a stock market, and many people's top 10's include the plaqueless. if you feel Jay took an L for staying disappointing on some top-tier beats, or ye's experimentation this round fell flat, or Drizzy exposed the tiny corner he's painting himself into with NWTS (honestly that next album being an R&B one could be a much better fit), etc etc why would their net worth change that for you?
just like gaming side: dudes wanna talk sales-age when their favorite team/game/etc is high up, but quality when they're not. pick a lane, ain't nobody got time for false dichotomies.
Hmm.His tour probably hasn't made a "ton" of money. In fact he's probably lost some money.

wut?Halfway through listening to N64 for the first time.

Because this is rap music; its inherently competitive in several senses and sales/buzz/public perception have and always will matter, just like in real life. Lol @ popgaf criteria, you love popgaf so stop it. Secondly, sales give us a reflection of real life, albeit a different one than critical acclaim or fanbase devotion. They let us know how the people feel. I used to disregard all that and put 100% emphasis on subjective valuations of music (and other media). But you know what? Ive lost my taste for the tryhard, oft elitist opinions of art/entertainment intelligentsia. They are often skewed heavily in perception of a certain kind of worldview depending on the source. Rapping, for a great deal of artists discussed in here is a job or side job. And if you're doing really well at making a living with that job, its kind of a logical non-starter to argue that theyre losing because of your subjective artistic/entertainment criteria.why ya'll stay on pop-GAF criteria for W's and L's ill never know. shit isn't a stock market, and many people's top 10's include the plaqueless. if you feel Jay took an L for staying disappointing on some top-tier beats, or ye's experimentation this round fell flat, or Drizzy exposed the tiny corner he's painting himself into with NWTS (honestly that next album being an R&B one could be a much better fit), etc etc why would their net worth change that for you?
