-Kanye: Sales disaster album, multiple Ls taken in interviews, probably nailed the coffin in his fashion career by burning bridges
-Drake: Shaken to his core by the audacity and masculinity of one Kendrick Duckworth Lamar
-Freddie Gibbs: Dropped from a major label, now propping up multiple wack homies in a poorly run indie label
-Meek Mills: Mixtape semi bombed, can't get a release date
-Big Sean: Major album release bombed, proving that he isn't even in the same building as Drake, Kendrick, Cole, and other young rappers who have lapped him.

I only agree with Meek and Sean.

Kanye acting a fool is expected these days.

As much as I dislike Drake, NWTS and his other endeavors have done well.

Gibbs is too small a fish for anyone to care too much about.

Meek Mill having an ehh mixtape doesn't come close to any of the bigger Ls this year. Gibbs was never a somebody, he's just continually in an underground rut like everyone else.

Big Sean, maybe. Sold less than his debut, worse quality album than his debut, barely 100k to date, trash singles, etc. Not just a sophomore slump but a regression, especially coming off of having the best verse on two of the biggest songs of 2012, Mercy and Clique. Can Ye coming back on his 3rd even help when he thought Guap was a good idea? I think if Sean gets No I.D. and Ye to both executively produce (or even better, exclusively produce) his 3rd album, he can rebound. If Ye/No I.D. can do for Sean what MNIMN was for Pusha, and really find that perfect sound for dude that was almost there in HoF, he might be able to. If not, I think it might be curtains closed. Don't think he will stand the test of time as a feature-only artist either.

It's weird too because All Me is sorta big and Sean snapped on that song, and Kendrick named him on Control (which doesn't really prevent Meek and Sean's Ls from being as big as they were but at least gives bandwagoners some sort of compass for whos dope and who isnt). Wasn't enough for Sean. Maybe it's just Toronto, but I was surprised how well everyone knew Sean's verse when Drake performed it at the Yeezus concert.

Is this Ross LMFAO suit really that weird? I remember being surprised when I found out Danny Brown had to clear the chorus on Dip with Ye and Jay before releasing the album. I personally don't feel that either party deserves to be paid for usage of their respective lines since both were such a small part of mostly original works, but it seems like their is precedent for this sort of thing.
