Kendrick just ripped it at my school. A buncha people left after hoodie allen, so our crowd was rowdy af. I like how he cuts out on some words cause the whole place is screaming together. Only downside was the venue, we had assigned seats but he played C&C as an encore and everyone went NUTS at each drop. People were climbing over seats to get to him :lol.

Man, he played swimming pools and C&C together, and while I love k dot's output, his recent tracks are just so far ahead of anything else he's done.

I love your beats, but not your tastes.

Burial and Zomby are pretty popular and I love both. Maybe Flying Lotus and Boards of Canada. Los Angeles is my shit.

Aerodynamic is still the best thing Daft Punks done but I hear their live show is amazing. Not too surprising since that live album they did with all the mash ups was sick. Old roommate of mine saw them live around the time it came out (07? 08?) and he said the show was crazy.

Otis was crazy though. Anyways, I don't understand why co-producing is such a big deal. Ie in the Illmind video, you can see that the Morning was a COMPLETELY different beat when Illmind sent it to him. He added the hook and changed a bunch of stuff. Same with Mercy, and the list goes on and on.

Do you see how people respect producers mostly on their own making lots of hits more though? Like Mike Will for example should have been nominated for those awards.

but then again this is BET so i have no expectations

They put on an amazing live show but damn that last album of theirs killed all the hype for me. It's not that it was different, it's the fact that it was just generic cheesebutt rock. Felt like I was listening to some Journey coverband.

Alchemist is entirely too low on that list, and I also agree that Statik should at least be on it. Illmind, Skywlkr , Clams Casino, and Supreme Cuts would also make my top 25.

...Shrines is their only album, buy it, what the fuck are you waiting for?


...I'm also kind of surprised by all of the Justice love and the fact that somebody is questioning my knowledge of electronic music...Are you nuts?
