Reese x OG Maco x Casey Veggies new track is garbage.

also, what's the verdict on Maco now? Atlanta right now is full of producers, artists and everything in between. TrapMoneyBenny, Brandom Thomas, Zeus, Maco, Key, DMP, and some others. And Slug Christ(cloud chill wave shit, think Yung Lean)

I'm not exactly sure which sides of Atlanta they all stay in but maybe someone will put together a list of everything important.

OG Maco or Maco Mattox as he used to be known used to be a more traditional rapper with a style more akin to Wale and J. Cole than to the more trap heavy swagged out rappers of Atlanta's current era. But I think it's pretty amazing how well he's switched up his style in a way that's capitalizes on the current state of affairs and yet is still much more interesting and dynamic than his former.

Jay Elec can fuck off with all this ostentatious trash. Try actually doing something before going on like you're the best. I only just got Act 1 a couple months ago. How are the first 6 minutes of the your 15 minute EP just Erika Badu and Just Blaze talking about how great you are his? I swear it feels like there maybe 4 verses total on the whole thing.

I'll admit Voodoo Man is an S-Tier track but his attitude really rubs me the wrong way.

I love that intro actually - well, loved it. At the time there was a lot of mystery surrounding him, and it was right before rappers lost all anonymity due to the birth of social media. Everything about it felt real to me at the time, especially Badu's comments.

I can't think of a rapper who wasted his buzz more than him.

The most offensive part of the Jay Elec video is that it's seemingly from his same trip to Nepal five whole fucking years ago.

This dude isn't just drip feeding music; but his stupid promotional material half a decade apart at a time, for no more than 2 minutes per bite.

FOH

EDIT: Nope it was 7 years ago.
Seven.
Years.

Yeah man shit is OLD he used some footage for the Dear Moleskin video which was about a minute long lmfao.

KRIT showing some life on these recent verses at least. Even worse than his hooks were his verses getting really boring compared to the KRIT Wuz Here days.
