my aoty list is braindead. but honestly as good as cilvia and mick jenkins etc. was i didn't enjoy them as much as the stupid albums this year. it's hard to rank all of this stuff though. there's no clear winner for me like there was last year with night's gambit and kanye.

The game gets my seal of approval (reminds me of the JRPGs that Game Arts developed back in the day), but I think people really love the game cause there is so much detail into the world (you can talk to every NPC and they have something different to say, the world itself is a rich, etc.)

I mean, I would stick with it if I were you (it's one of the better JRPGs to come out this decade, but that's not really saying much)

I'm all about that JRPG shit and I couldn't stand how slow Trails in the Sky starts. That game is booty for a few long hours before shit gets going tbh.

JRPGs have been smelling like over-ripened fruit for a while now. Radiant Historia is the last good one I played, I don't have a Wii so I've been sleeping on Xeno. This was supposed to be the gen of the revived JRPG, at least as gaming-side rhetoric tried to tell me. Anyone who knows how to make a proper JRPG is dusty, disillusioned, preparing for retirement. The ship has sailed.

The older I get the more the beatles sound like teeny bop. Which I've come to understand that that's exactly what they were early on. They still have an enjoyable legacy overall.

Radiohead has had some good songs, but at the same time they seem so homogenous with the era in which they exist. Not sure If I've become too familiar with their knockoffs to pay respect to the original. I've never given their albums properly listens, just snacked on some songs and was never swayed much by them.

Yeah, same. Everyone I've talked to that loves Radiohead usually has an emotional attachment that arose from a certain place and time. Although music can be timeless, it's still harder to get that resonance when you're at a different stage in your life. Still gonna give them a listen soon though.
