I enjoyed this. It's an intelligent-hood album. Kevin Gates doesn't offend the "intellectuals" and doesn't alienate the hood. To break it down; He's conscious of his life, and flows well enough to get his consciousness across without sounding uneducated or like a square.
It bangs in the gym. That's where I've spend most time listening it.

I hope Nick Wiz's Cellar Sounds Vol. 4 drops this year
If yall aren't up on that, the Cellar Sounds series are double disc compilations of mostly unreleased and rare tracks produced by Nick Wiz spanning from 1992 to 1998 featuring various underground and unknown east coast rappers on them.
It's shocking how much he had for 3 volumes (6 discs) so far and hes still got more....crazy.
