I'm not super familiar with HP lore. I read the books as they came out but I've read so many books in my time that they're just kind of lost in the jumble.

I'm between that and the "femme fatale" voice that Haly suggested a while back. The former would be absurdly easy but has the potential to be super annoying, and the latter would be much more difficult but also more interesting.

I don't really care about HP, but I love crazy ass games. This sounds like a crazy ass game!
I recommend A Story About You, even though it doesn't have the usual format of the show, it's a great, rather self-contained episode. A Memory of Europe is also fun.

How's the game shaping up, Ourob and SalvaPot? I can think of several potential twists involving death, but I probably shouldn't voice them here. Hope I get to play!
I got it organized the way I like to look at the setups, but I won't get to really dive in until later tomorrow.
Should I ever find the time to run a game, rest assured it'll be utterly insane. Might even throw in a P/T mechanic like in MtG, because why not? Chances are I'll never be able to free up enough time though.

Although, I only ever read the last book once, when it came out. I felt so sad that the series was finally over that I couldn't ever bring myself to re-read it. It's been like 8 years though, I think that's long enough for mourning. I really want to re-read it now.

Auchenai SoulPriest - pick a target each night, if that target heals or is healed the person who is healed dies. You will not be notified if such a death occurs. You win when you manage to kill x players.
Town Role
Al'Akir the Windlord - you can vote twice. also you have divine shield (protects from death).
Jaina with Frost Nova - noone can act tonight.

with a new randomly generated role.
Grim Patron, every time you are attacked bring in another player(or less logistically problematic, gain an additional vote). Unless you are attacked by a player with more than 3 power.

On a serious note, I want to say publicly how lucky I was to be randomly assigned to that role with Droplet, especially in my first ever game of Mafia. We clicked right from the word go, and it was an invaluable asset to be able to bounce ideas off each other before bringing them to the group. It's funny, looking at the other private threads, it seems that me and Droplet did a lot more strategizing than either of the Cult teams. I'm almost wary of playing again for fear of being all by myself. Or worse, being pitted against Droplet.
