Depends on how quickly we grow. We kind of exploded but we're still having payer retention problems because of the time commitment thing.
4 might be the limit, but we can run more if people choose to make smaller games. This time around, every moderator wanted 23 players which is a lot!

I was not aware of that official rule, so yes, VI switches his own role as well.
I use a spreadsheet in Excel, actually, so the actual switches are pretty easy.

Mafia Reboot: Too many games and themes, start over with classic mafia. With a modern twist.
Yeah, you missed us talking about that yesterday because Palmer brought it up. Something to keep in mind in the future, I guess VI is immune to his own shuffling which makes sense from a balance standpoint for the card.
I think there are arguments to make for both ways of doing it. I will not elaborate on that for now though, I will wait and see how this game goes first.
I actually also use an Excel spreadsheet too keep track of the game while playing, for example, this is the one from game 2:
Without that, you get confused VERY easily.
That's my thing. Too much craziness. We need normal games.
Nah. We need more craziness. We need insane games. Everyone gets an ability or power! Everyone gets a second and third win condition. Additional mechanics? You bet. Secret chats? Of course. Game within the game? Oh yeah. Shifting allegiance? Day powers? Players getting resurrected? The sky's the limit! Also post limits.
