I think I've got a game preliminarily worked up for season 5 or later (could be moved up to 4 if we needed one but seems like that's pretty well covered). Needs to be balanced and have to work up the fluff but the core theme (secret until it's a go) and roles I think are solid.

Reading is hard. This is why I died so quickly. I'm bad at reading.

I have one in the works with a fun Time Travel mechanic for Futurama. I am also interested in making a Harry Potter one and I actually have REALLY interesting roles for that one, but someone beat me to it so I put it on the backburner for now.

General advice for people planning games from someone who first-hand saw a mechanic blow up in his face, try not to make things overly complex. Even the best ideas have that one scenario where they could go belly-up, not be used the way you intended, and all of a sudden the game is broken or boring or too hectic.

You try to plan your game out too perfectly, then if things start taking another course than the one you envisioned, it's no longer balanced or no longer works well. Kark (which might have been passed down from Crab) told me when I was making my game that I should create a sandbox, but ultimately let the players decide how to utilize it. Don't get too into specific scenarios or crazy shenanigans because you won't be able to see every eventuality.

I think I'll be interested in your after action report.

I think all 3 of these games have been fine so far. I say that without understanding a key mechanic in 2 out of 3 of them though :p

Actually, I want film noir, either the hard boiled detective or the femme fatale.

I gave HP to nin on request.

I have a 15 player game I'd like to run mid-season, I already wrote the role PMs and theme is Nintendo NX launch night. Everyone's waiting in line but they don't have enough consoles so it's Fun-aligned (town) vs No-Fun-Allowed (mafia) to determine who gets one. The set-up is closed and normal.

Also sign me up for cyber punk.

Does no-fun-allowed team get to take a sledgehammer to the console? Dibs if so.
