I am the worst Mafia player ever
but you were playing Werewolf.

Can't wait to see the spectator chat, lol
Sorian's livejournal, you mean.
This is why I want to see it.This is all it is. I promise you all that it is extremely boring especially since I was reacting to things in real time with very little quote stuff so sometimes it can be hard to see what I was talking about. I did crack jokes on Ouro once or twice though.
You're number 1 in my heart.
My spreadsheet looks like it's on fire during the middle part of that game.I like Mafia and all but I'm not any good at it.
I'm better at ONUW, I think. Because it's just logic and accounting, and if there's one thing corgis are good at, it's spreadsheets.
You don't even want to see the ones I made for Archer, Animal Crossing, and Danganronpa.
What would you need an Archer one for?

Go away, I'm in the Angst phase of my character development where I half-heartedly phone in or avoid all enemy encounters because I'm depressed at how inadequate and ineffective my skills are and therefore shun and turn away from all my friends and allies because I can't cope with how nobody understands me
When was the last time you liked anything, Karkador?
Please don't become a Shounen anime protagonist.
Give me your reads, Shinji.

No but really, it just seems like a very busted role. Maybe it gets better once the meta has acclimated to it, but then it looks like every game is the people vs. the village idiot.

But I did like the Mystic Wolf. Blending in with the Seer is fun, and the potential shenanigans seem interesting.
Perfect, thanks

Maybe I'm mistaken but doesn't ONUW come down to who correctly guesses the center cards?
If you're Wolf, and you claim, and then you get counterclaimed, you open yourself up to a coinflip basically. But if you guessed correctly, then you can ride it to victory.
I actually agree that I don't like the Village Idiot. I went forward with it, but when I looked at the spreadsheet, I thought, "How the hell is anyone going to figure this out?"
I think it's one of those roles that works way better in a real life game.
I responded to this in the spectator thread just now (didn't want to say something that would affect voting)
TL;DR: I think VI works fine if it is put in as intended (VI doesn't have an effect on their own card)
Claim Village
Everyone gives reads and whatnot
Game plays out.
10 minutes left on the clock: "Oh JK guys, I rotated, so vote for this guy instead"
Singlehandedly swept the game.
In regular Mafia, you pull a stunt like this and you get policy lynched on the spot, then the game just keeps on going. But ONUW, you are forced to recognize the possibility of a rotation, throwing everything out of whack. You can do this as Werewolf as well as a final "fuck you" to create chaos.
That sounds even worse, because the user doesn't have to worry about altering their own alignment

Yeah, he will just out himself, ex Wolfs will out each other, follow one of the wolf cards= town wins almost always. It gives town an incredible advantage in a game that is already slightly in favor of town.
Next ONUW, everyone just claim VI at the start. We'll work from there.
