Whenever a girl posts, all eyes turn to her post - She's just a person. If a girl writes a post, the next 10-15 posts will be quoting her and I guarantee more than half of them will have or ;P faces. Yes, its nice to have female members but holy shit. If a girl is more outlandish, its usually more than 15 posts.

1- Whoever said Olimario dead on. It's like his whole existence is a joke character. He's the only person on any message board ever that I've seriously contemplated about putting on ignore, but comedy and all that...

I don't understand the general consensus that Nintendo fans are all politcally affiliated with the right.

It's bullshit. Just because Nintendo is a financially conservative company does not mean all nintendo employees and fans are political conservatives (yes, I've heard this argument before). And I know there's a lot of Nintendo fans at gaf who happen to be republicans (Olimario, Link, etc... I happen to be democratic, and am pretty damn liberal in my beliefs). But just because there's somewhat of a correlation at GAF that says Nintendo fans are republicans doesn't mean it's a universal truth.

I once posted something like that and got a ton of lefty/Nintendo replies. I have that list of the "Coalition of the Sane" saved around here somewhere.

Why is it so hard NOT to respond when someone rightfully mocks the DS?

It's easier to not respond than to respond, but even at a response rate of only 2% among 100 people, the apparent return on investment is great.

For me, I post them to see how much money I had to waste. Since there was an appropriate thread, I would post it. Its not really a dick wagging contest as far as I know.
