Dufter Typ taking lurking to the next level
Am Wochenende um 8 Uhr morgens aufstehen... was mach ich bloß falsch? :(

Wenigstens kommen heute und morgen ein paar Sachen für meine Wohnung an, dann ist die nicht mehr ganz so leer.

Senile Bettflucht? Die Blase? :p

Ich hab mit ~20 auch bis mittags geschlafen und zwar egal ob ich am Vortag unterwegs war oder nicht. Jetzt ist 9:30 das höchste der Gefühle und danach fühle ich mich wie gerädert anstatt ausgeschlafen.

dito! Ich war schon einkaufen, schaff ich eh nur noch am Samstag. Es gibt nichts geileres als Berlin am Samstag morgen.

8 Uhr? Luxus! Ich musste um 4:30 aufstehen und von 6-10 nochmal fix auf die Arbeit...

Güten Tag, meiner Deutsche Nachbarn, I have a small question. Next monday I will be trading in Amsterdam for Berlin for a couple of days. I've been searchin online for a bit, and I'm really looking for something to see/do on mondaynight. Lots of stuff on tuesday, but can a Berliner recommend me something for the first night? I'll be cheking in at eight in the evening.

Oh, and of course, other recommendations for Berlin are also welcome :)

Ich bin heute um 5:45 aufgewacht, weil mein Zimmer nicht komplett lichtdicht ist. Aber ich musste sowie so um 7:00 aufstehen. :/

Es gibt immer Leute, die schlimmer dran sind als man selbst. :p

Ich habe heute sehr viel geschafft! Matratze etc. und Nachttisch gekauft, Bett aufgebaut und aufgeräumt...und zum ersten mal in Japan Auto gefahren, ganz alleine ohne Unfall! Automatik hasse ich trotzdem noch wie die Pest.

Mondays are pretty tame I guess. At least I can not think of anything that'd be paticularly interesting on a monday night. Where do you stay? If you stay in a hostel in Mitte or Kreuzberg I reckon there'd be plenty of people how'd be up for something. Also check some of the older threads.

Here is a list of parties next Monday.

Thanks for the link to the old thread (where you seem to be everybody's tourguide as well :)) I'll be staying at the Aurora hostel, at the Pappelallee, in Prenzlauer Berg. Apparently there's some sort of alternative pubcrawl starting at 9 in the evening, about 1 km from my hostel. The site talks about pingpong, absinthe and burlesque. Sounds pretty much ok. Since I'll be going alone there might be other travelers there, probably easy to meet new people. And on tuesday I will porbably check out the White Trash Food place. Live Swedish Rockabily? Can't go wrong with that!

And according to the other thread theres sooooo much stuff to see in Berlin. Unter den Linden is probably a good place to start? And If the weather is ok I'm also looking for a nice park to sit down in for a couple of hours, and write for a bit. Any suggestions on that?

And again, thanks for the help!

Pappelallee is a good place to start! I'd just go with the flow and do the pub crawl as you said. The weather is supposed to get better on Monday so hopefully you'll be lucky!

I like Unter den Linden and it's the best place to start if it's your first time in Berlin. The biggest most popular park is the Tiergarten which starts right behind Brandenburg gate and stretches far into Charlottenburg. Another suggestion would be the Monbijou Park which is a small park close to the Museum Island and Unter den Linden.

Hallo zusammen,

mit diesem Post verliert mein recht zügig freigeschalteter GAF-Account seine Jungfräulichkeit :)

Die Chance für Merkel! Katastrophen eignen sich immer gut als Vehikel zur Wiederwahl. Vielleicht kann man auch ja mal die Drohnen ausprobieren, um den Schaden abzuschätzen und die Bundeswehr kann auch mal wieder Sand schaufeln und Säcke schleppen.

Für mich stand schon fest, dass Merkel noch eine Runde drehen darf. Ich will nur die FDP versagen sehen, mehr erwarte ich nicht, aber die werden sich wahrscheinlich doch wieder irgendwie über die Hürde versprechen.

Sonnenschein und 20 Grad, Föhnsturm sei Dank. Aber richtig Freude kommt natürlich keine auf, wenn man sieht, dass einige Kilometer weiter ganze Städte in den Wassermassen versunken sind.

Zur E3 verzichte ich zumindest während der Konferenzen auf NeoGAF - es wird ja doch wie üblich nichts funktionieren und alles überlastet sein. Über mögliche Konsequenzen und Problemlösungen finde ich auch nichts und Serverupgrade wird sich wohl in einer knappen Woche nicht mehr ausgehen.

I don't even know why I still get hyped for gaming conferences. The PS4 reveal sucked, the Xbox One reveal sucked even more, Nintendo doesn't even care anymore and yet I get sucked into the hype, just because I sorta like this industry and once again I'll leave work as soon as I can, cover myself in lots of shitty food and can't wait to rage in the SteamGAF chat about the crap they're showing ("Yes, another Killzone/inFamous/Call of Duty/EA Sports game! Just what the world needed!").
