Krabat is arguably the best childrens novel ever (only rivaled by the Neverending Story) imho. I hope they were able to capitalize on the "Gosh Wizards!" craze.


Excited about his memoires.

Edit: Copies of Krabat/The Satanic Mill go for a 150 bucks on amazon.com!

i actually never heard of it until i saw a trailer for the movie - which i haven't seen either.
so you're saying i should read the book? how's the movie?
and since we're at the topic of children's books: anyone here read the "Burg Schreckenstein" novels as a kid? same topic recently came up at work and i seem to be the only one who read (& loved) those.

and now for something completely different: when does the sony event start today? midnight (GMT+1), is that correct?

Movie is lame at best. Book is all kinds of awesome! I just read in his obituary on faz.net today, that it took him 10 years to finish the book and it's themes have yet to be completely explored ("Dass dieses Buch bei allem interpretatorischen Fleiß der letzten vierzig Jahre noch nicht entfernt ausgelotet ist, spricht sehr für „Krabat“ und seinen Autor.").

I have fond memories of reading the book in school while replacing every verb with a dirty word with my friend. good times.

Manchmal sind's eben die kleinen Sachen. Ich hab mal mit nem Kumpel eine Woche lang die ganze Zeit einfach nur Anfangsbuchstaben von Vor- und Nachnamen von allem vertauscht, was uns so in den Schulstunden in die Quere kam. Tränen gelacht ("Gohann von Joethe, lolololololol"). Die Lehrer haben mich so gehaßt.

Meine Jungs und ich haben unser Mathebuch als Koraktor missbraucht und uns schwarze Magie an den Hals gewünscht in Form von mathematischen Formeln; manchmal ist es eskaliert und die Bücher mussten als Wurfgeschosse herhalten, good times

Last Of Us bleibt der PS3 treu

Was mich nicht überraschen würde: kurze Trailer zu The Last Guardian + Versus welches einen neuen Namen erhält, beides nun für die PS4

Killzone 4 gilt als sicher; Sony Santa Monica arbeitet auch an irgendeinem Next-Gen Titel, da bin ich mir ziemlich sicher. Ansonsten noch einige Third-Party reveals, Battlefield 4 könnte genauso möglich sein wie noch einmal Destiny oder sowas.

Es wird auf jeden Fall mehr um die Hardware an sich gehen als um die Spiele - E3 wird wohl dann dafür da sein; Preis usw. werden ebenso erst auf der E3 preisgegeben denke ich

vll auch irgendwelche news wegen watchdogs? da wurde doch auch spekuliert obs jetzt ps3 +ps4 oder was auch immer wird. aber das ist wohl auch eher E3 gebiet wenn überhaupt

Watch_Dogs könnte ebenso gut sein; Ubisoft Montreal Mitarbeiter sind ebenfalls in NY gesichtet worden und evtl. gibt es ein kleinen Teaser zur Next-Gen Umsetzung (das Spiel soll ja für aktuelle Platformen als auch für Durango/Orbis erscheinen). Hinzu kommt, dass Ubisoft und Sony eine sehr positive Partnerschaft haben (AssCreed DLC, Vita Version etc.).

Aber wer weiß, vllt. schauen sich die Jungs auch nur die Konsole an; nur weil Leute verschiedenster Studios anwesend sein werden, heißt das leider noch lange nicht, dass sie auch etwas zeigen werden..

TLG, Versus XIII und MGS4 waren damals Grund genug für mich eine PS3 zu kaufen

Nunja, bis auf MGS4 lief das irgendwie schief :lol
Gab aber noch genug großartige exklusive Titel für das System

Ich habe mir eine PS3 wegen Uncharted 2, Last Guardian, God Of War 3 und der Ratchet & Clank Serie gekauft. Ich bereue es kaum. Auch werde ich mir eine PS4 kaufen, wenn sie heute ankündigen, dass TLG für die PS4 kommt. Nicht zum Launch, aber dennoch wäre es auf meiner Liste.

Ich habe den Support von BF3 nie verfolgt, was ist passiert? Bullshit wie immer? Ich dachte um 2010-2011, dass sich EA verändert hat. :/
