GAFFERS have any back Issues of Edge?

GDJustin

stuck my tongue deep inside Atlus' cookies
I looked on Ebay and found literally 0 auctions. I'm looking to flesh out by collection of Edge, as I only started reading it with regularity this year. If anyone is looking to clear out some space or otherwise has Edge issues they're willing to part with, I'll be happy to take them off your hands and put some $ in your wallet.

Reply here, or PM me, etc.

Yeah, i have a big collection of edge issues i think from the issue 19 to the latest ones but i still miss some in the middle though....

PM sent. I also cleared out my PM box, which I just now realized was full, in case anyone else tried to send me a PM before.

I've got all but a handful of issues since #97 I think, plus a few in the 50's and 60's. Anything between the 90's and 120s are probably the "best" issues. Apparently the early ones are quite expensive if they ever do appear on eBay.

Back in the UK, I have every issue from 1 to 100. I plan to get rid of it some day but if you're in the US, postage would be a total bitch.

Try ebay Uk - you'll have more luck I think.

Just spotted an auction for Super Play issues 1-47 for 125 quid. Not bad at all for the best SNES mag ever..

I have issues:

#29 - Nintendo 64 Special, with early game images.
#57 - "Retro Types"
#59 - Outcast Special with Special Cover
#63 - Turok 2 with Turok Bookmark

I have plenty of the Next Generation magazines. Are they in demand at all? It was the sister magazine, right?

I looked at Ebay UK, but they all stipulate that they won't ship outside the UK. There's some excellent lots of a large # of issues which would be perfect, though. Oh well :(

Contact the seller and see if they're willing to ship outside the UK - perhaps they just didn't consider the possibility that anyone would want to pay the postage costs on a huge slab of paper. :)

Well I mean I'm willing to pay pretty good money for older issues, but I'm not freaking rich. When people say shipping a bunch of mags to the US would be "outrageously expensive," just how expensive are we talking? How much would it cost to ship say, 10 issues to the US from the UK?

I've got a huge load of edges for issue 3 onwards (some are missing but I must have about 100+). I'll try to find out the shipping cost.

this is some of my issues. the early stuff

Wait a little while. It is undoubtedly the UK magazine that shows up the most often on ebay. There are usually dozens and they clog up the magazine section.

I have only this issues that Barnes and Noble have started carrying here in the US for like the last 6 or 7 months or so.

I like the magazine.

Reminds me a little of Next Generation.

Had evey single issue of that one.

I loved edge.

I wasn't totlly regular in buying it, though. My most treasured issues remain the gold Ocarina of Time edition (because it's my favourite game), the Black and White issue with the top 100 games of all time (complete with Ocarina of Time at number 1), and issue 100 with the cover drawn by Miyamoto (although I loved the cardboard binary cover so much, I cut it up to make a box).
