Sadly that's what happened with Lotus.
I wish Christina would promote herself better or just become more interesting.
I'm expecting a different outcome this time. After Lotus (which I believe was the last album on her previous contract with RCA), if Christina was ready to be done with music I don't think she'd be recording another album. She's no longer under any obligation to.
Also, after that huge letter she wrote to her fans when the #Justice4Bionic campaign went viral, she's been tweeting and commenting in interviews about being inspired musically again (which is indirect shade towards Lotus, but I've come to accept the fact that she intentional shat that album out).
She's also been performing lately with more frequency than she does when she's on break. She's got two MAJOR gigs this year that we know about, and she's already done a handful of private concerts.
Christina is engaged, and happy. Last time she was like this we got Back to Basics. *.*
Knowing J Lo was writing/co-writing the song... I just had a feeling.

The number 1 was a nice achievement for Eminem, but idk if I would call it new Rihanna music. I wouldn't call singles from a Fall 2012 album new music either. BEYONCÉ has her shook; no other way to assess the current situation, really.
