I thought I'd have more trouble even getting to 10, but there's a bunch of great games that could easily round off a top 20. Games like Cuphead, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad, Kirby U, Batman, Iro, Scalebound, Smash Bros, Evil Within, MKX, Bayonetta 2, Mario Maker, Inside.
It's been a good E3 even though I was really hoping for a Majora's Mask remake and a new 2D Metroid. At least we got confirmation on a new Star Fox, which is very exciting.

1. cuphead ; the game i just immediately wanted to play, incredible visuals
2. no man's sky ; the most intriguing. seamless transition from alien planet to space exploration was striking.
3. splatoon ; a million shooters yet this still seems really interesting mechanically. great marriage of nintendo's house style with popular yet very non-nintendo genre
4. night in the woods ; beautiful aesthetics and a slow paced story concept that appeals greatly
5. captain toad's treasure tracker ; lovely diorama style and i love small little self contained puzzle levels. seems like the relaxing brother to donkey kong 94.
6. sunset overdrive ; just looks so fluid and fun to navigate the world and action
7. ori and the blind forest ; the beautiful 2d platformer is a genre but the fluid meat boy movement and ghibli story stuff seem cool
8. bloodborn ; little glimpse of gameplay is enough to put it in top 10. love the ideas of a more action approach and the gothic visuals are amazing
9. mario maker ; i'm not creative enough even for littlebigplanet, but this looked simple enough to have a lot of fun
10. abzu ; gorgeous style. i like thing that emphasize mystrey and beauty of underwater. blue planet should be more of an inspiration.
not counting cg or limited showings (like zelda or uncharted 4 or valiant hearts )
