I wasn't talking about anything. I was just asking if there was going to be a season 2 or not.

I don't think so. This doesn't seem like the sort of show which would get multiple seasons. Hell, it shouldn't even exist in the first place. :lol

haha, I guess that's true. However, aren't additional seasons usually green-lit if initial runs are profitable? I mean, I have no idea how profitable a show that airs in the middle of the night is, but if they make money, and there is an audience, it seems more than likely additional seasons would follow ...I think.

Imaishi and company came up with the concept while drunk, I doubt they are really expecting it to be popular enough for a second season.

Has GAINAX ever done "second seasons"?

Shikabane Hime doesn't count since Aka and Kuro were pretty much done during the same production?

I wouldn't say Diebuster is a second season, but more like another story set in the same universe of Gunbuster. More like a spin-off.

I deleted that from my memory. Understandably, I hope.

I always thought of Diebuster as more of a spiritual successor to Gunbuster than a full on sequel. They have very little in common and you'd have no idea they took place in the same universe if it wasn't for the ending.

I mean in terms of content, not how it was advertised. Of course I think that about a lot of sequels.

But yeah, Diebuster definitely qualifies as a "season 2".

I remember this comic spread thing that came out before the show. We were all like 'lolwut' about it. There's no way she could actually crave the cock so much, I thought. Thankfully I was wrong.

Well technically Chrono Cross is the sequel to Chrono Trigger. That doesn't mean it is a good sequel (the difference being that Chrono Cross is shite while Diebuster is pretty rad).

The "technically" part is all that matters though. If it's a sequel, it's a sequel. There's nothing vague about it, and what you feel about the content matters jack shit. You said that Aim for the Top 2 is not the sequel to Aim for the Top, but a side story instead. That's incorrect. You cannot deny that you were factually inaccurate.

Fclvat sbe Pnanqn, ru?
The small somethings operating Chuck and his demon counterpart in episode 10 really reminded me of the garden gnomes living in Canti's televisionhead.

I'm surprised Panty doesn't have every STD in the book. :lol I guess she must have an infinite amount of fail safe condoms in her pocket.

My hatred for Chrono Cross has only intensified. But okay, I am done saying stupid shit (today).

She doesn't know what a condom is. Remember, she thought it was gum when they were given out in the school. Maybe angels just don't get STDs.

Ep25 - DC Confidential (Hiroshi Seko, Hiroyuki Imaishi, Junichi Uematsu, Hirokazu Kojima)

The demons who have been fighting Panty and Stocking day after day report the results of their battles to their superior...

Ep26 - Panty + Brief (Hiromi Wakabayashi, Atsushi Nishigori, Masahiko Otsuka)

Panty is fucking too much, so Garterbelt decides to impose a sex ban on her!

Demon Sisters' episode and Brief's episode? Sounds like them secondary characters will finally get their chance to shine.

Well, I was kinda fearing the first half of this episode was gonna be a recap when they announced Uematsu, an editor, as part of the main staff. I don't think the final episode will be anything of the sort, however; there is nothing to fear with Imaishi as director and Sushio as AD, I'm sure they will at least try to deliever a big climatic ending.

HOLY SHIT!

A) Solid recap. The script actually made it enjoyable. :)

B) HOLY SHIT!

I didn't think the day would come where they actually used a CLIFFHANGER. I guess there's no better time to pull that one surprise, than the episode right before the finale. :D

Great episode. Kind of wish they pulled a Cerberus syndrome earlier, but better late than never. Expecting a really badass Gurren Lagann level finale.

He who pursues two rabbits gets two rabbits.
Why is there a very brief clip of
Garterbelt's BDSM scene
at 3:22?

Considering the trend of the last two epsidoes, I wonder if the next one will have any kind of OP at all. :lol

I have very mixed feelings about this pair. I don't think heavy drama suits this show well, but we'll see in the finale.
I get the same kind of kneejerk negative reaction out of this episode and a few of the previous ones, but mostly because of the frustration of having to wait another full week for more.

This episode indeed angered me.

BECAUSE, FUCK IT, I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK.

It angered me that one third of the episode was reused footage. o_ó

They should have used that time to animate Scanty & Kneesocks' happy fun time instead.

I just watched Inception recently and holy shit is that young Leo? Goddamn.

As soon as I saw Panty looking at the fish my alarm bells started going off and sure enough, once she saw Brief through the water I facepalm'd (in a good way!) and burst into laughter. Wasn't expecting that reference at all :lol

More thoughts: Brief is the
Keymaster
? Fits the Ghostbusters motif. :lol

Get krunk.

That's EXACTLY what I thought! :lol

Otherwise, great episode. I'm actually jonesing for more PSG. I can't believe the next episode is the last. This series is too good to keep it at 13.
