See, from what I understand, the first 4 episodes blow, which is why I'm asking for a list of recommendations. I don't enjoy wasting my time.

There's a number of ways things could realistically go from here.

- No second season. Troll ending to troll series.
- Episode 14 picks up at the same scene, Real Stocking drops in from Heaven and asks everyone what's up.
- Episode 14 opens with Panty and Stocking chilling as their usual lazy selves, Brief being a wimp, and Garterbelt yelling at everyone. If the final scene is acknowledged at all, it would come episodes later as some kind of hand-waved offhand remark. "Remember when we had to cure you of demon AIDS?"
- Everyone turns out to be evil. I mean, if we are being forced to take the major plot points seriously, then it means that Brief is the blood-kin of some super ghost, Chuck is a transforming ghost-beast with a demon for a brain, Garterbelt has a shady past and super-shady fetishes, and Panty isn't the most upstanding or dependable heroine in the first place.
- Season two is Scanty & Kneesocks.

The last thing I expect them to do is to play it straight... which, if history is any indication, it means that that is exactly what will happen.

EDIT: Should probably wrap a spoiler tag around that whole thing, on second thought.

I just caught up on the final episodes.

I for one look forward to the homoerotic adventures of Brief & Chuck with Garterbelt.

I'm usually not into buying anime, but how would I go about getting this series on Blu Ray? Are they released domestically? Or would I have to import it? If I had to import a BR, would it work on a US PS3?

Yes, but very few of JP-releases have eng. subs and I wouldn't be surprised if the price tag on such set would be over 200$. Importing JP BDs ain't cheap.

There is always a chance but given the shows natue I would think there isn't too many takers for this show. Start sending strong worded letters to funimation and something might happen but I would say bd/dvd release outside of japan are slim to nil.

If Family Guy and various assorted Adult Swim shows can get exposure here, so can P&S for sure.

Sure, i think some network could pick up the show but I doubt DVD and BD release will ever happen.

Yeah, I just looked at HMV Japan and the first volume on Blu-Ray is 7,207 yen, which is $87. And there are 6 volumes. :lol

:lol Ridiculous, and the worst thing is that most likely when the 1st shipment is sold you can't get them anymore, ever. Well except from amazon.jp but the price has at least doubled. I really don't understand how the whole bd/dvd industry even works in japan, everything is just so dang expensive over there. Do they just rent instead of buying or what ?

Otaku don't really buy to watch, they buy to put it in their shrine or whatever. It's a pretty different market. If you're selling holy items I guess you can charge a lot of money.

Yeah, but it's not just the otaku stuff. All BD and DVD prices are off the roof. I have bought couple of BD films (non anime) from japan and all of 'em were around 4500 yen (over 50$).

Hey, did you miss the part where I did say I watched some episodes, and I have an interest in watching the series? No? It's in the post you quoted. Help a poster out by recommending episodes you liked instead of driving away people WHO WANT TO ENJOY WHAT YOU ENJOY. Excuse me for not wanting to watch shit episodes.

I'll just go back and see what duckroll recommends (as he and several others mentioned the first 4 were disappointing), even though his list is out of date.

High School Nudical (4B) ...Of the Dead (8A) and If the Angels Wore Swimsuits (9A) are the only really disappointing episodes of the series, and maybe The Runny (5A) but that had some nice action in it.
