The most depressing thing about the Game Boy Micro is that once all the screen covers you own are scratched, you won't be able to replace them anymore.
Nintendo Australia still sells brand new faceplates if you ring them up.

Micro Famicom from Amazon 3rd party
Yay or nay?
For that price I'd expect something legit, but what does Gaf say?
Sooooo tempted ... But.... Maybe just skip the Micro for now? I love my SP, and Ive been thinking about a Micro but I'm starting to wonder if in the long run I'm better off just getting everything on my 3DS.

Damn, are you serious? I'm desperately after a first party red one. I need to bug someone in Australia to help me out.Nintendo Australia still sells brand new faceplates if you ring them up.
Amazon.com is a reasonable place to get these from right? Or does anyone else have any recommendations.
Word.Always bet on black.
Ok last question.
Silver or Black?
Depends, is it the black micro with black faceplate? In that case black. Otherwise if it is the silver micro with black faceplate, get that one.
The silver one is as it is, all Silver.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AX224Y/?tag=neogaf0e-20 - those are the 'black' ones on Amazon.
I have the famicom us one and a pink european one. I would loooove a green one, but can't afford to buy one.
It doesn't seem like Nintendo.com.au has an online store?
Does Amazon UK ship to the US? I think I might have found some.

YES! YES! YES!
GBA Micro GET!
I think I'm just gonna look on eBay. Speaking of... Mother 3 Gameboy Micro. I'd buy it if I had the money.

That's a great one! I had to get one a few years back. I love how they painted it as if it has been played a lot, and the paint is wearing off of the front, and around the buttons.

I'm playing through some GBA stuff lately, and I'm kind of thinking about grabbing a Micro. I've never owned one. I have a stupid collection of Nintendo handheld stuff, including four GBA SP's, two of which are 101's (the later backlit version). So I don't NEED one. I've kind of always felt that the backlit SP is the ultimate perfection in GBA, but I've never owned a Micro. Reading through this thread does give me some serious Micro envy.

The GBA SP2's (the backlit ones) are truly the best in my opinion as well, but the GB Micro's are just so insanely tiny and portable that it'd be worth getting one if you want something a bit less bulky.
The screen/brightness is nowhere near as good as the SP2 though.
If anybody has any faceplates for sale, I'll be more than willing to buy them off of you. I bought mine second hand and the faceplate is terribly scratched up.
