What was the game that hit with the Gameboy Micro.
Wait what? Is this all Gamestops??![]()
It's the fact that you're on a bus. Wario Ware Twisted hates it when you're on the move.
You might be thinking of the Bit Generations series (most of which were ported to DSi and WiiWare under the new Art Style banner). What was the game that hit with the Gameboy Micro.
Rest in peace, Soundvoyager. I used to play that game every night in my bed, Game Boy Micro in hand, headphones in ears, and eyes closed. Incredibly relaxing. You might be thinking of the Bit Generations series (most of which were ported to DSi and WiiWare under the new Art Style banner).
I was thinking about getting one of these. My brother has been playing a lot of Gamecube games lately, some that have link cable functionality.
So I look into the Micro to see if it's possible and it seems' like it's not without some soldering skills, sucks, and I'm still on the fence...
Reading this thread has made me want one bad. Amazon has them for 130 new, worth picking up for that price?
Recently I was able to find someone selling his Micro for 25, boxed and in an almost new condition. I already had a DS Lite for playing my GBA games, but I couldn't resist to a such a sexy device at that price.
It took me a while to get used to its tiny screen, but man, now I can't play GBA games in another system. My only minor complaints is that the silver one is quite boring and that the faceplate seems to be a bit loose on the D-Pad side. Anyone knows if that's normal?
I don't think my Micro is accepting a charge.
I plug the charger in the blue lights do not come up on the Start/Select buttons.
When I turn it on now the red lights come up on the Start/Select buttons.
Any advice from GAF for troubleshooting or potential fixes?
Maybe the Charger is not working. Try replace it.
Damn! I've been looking for an official red faceplate for my GBM for ages. I'm based in the UK, and Nintendo doesn't sell them here. Are they still available from Nintendo Australia? I'd love for someone to ship me one if possible. Happy to pay all costs.Well I just bid on and won a red GBM for $30 NZD, that's about $25 USD I guess.
It's got a local wall charger which is great because I currently use a USB charger (both my chargers are JP and don't work here).
It didn't come with a faceplate but luckily I have a brand new red one spare from my order with Nintendo Australia last year. I feel like I should order some more before they run out...

Sorry for the late reply, but don't worry about that.
All three of my Micros creak and bend a little when pressed on the faceplate under the D-pad. It is a normal occurance due to the faceplate being removable.
With how rare faceplates are, I wish Nintendo would have just made them permanently attached... But if the micro succeeded, that would have been awesome to have a set of like 40 diffent faceplates and choose one before going out.

I love my GameBoy Micro. I actually gave them out as gifts to my Groomsmen at my wedding. Each Groomsman got a game that suited their particular tastes too.

Hey, I'm having this problem too... somewhat.
Just tried to charge it last week after a year or more and it wouldn't work. Start/Select lights went blue for a second and then turned off.
I tried multiple chargers and none worked.
I figure that the system's charge port is messed up somehow. It's pretty depressing.
Just got this in the post. Will update with a pic tonight!
Forgot to post a pic til now
It has a bit of damage like it's been dropped on one corner, but since it's metal it doesn't really show up. I bought it without the faceplate but since I added my brand new red one it looks like new anyway!
Recently re-discovered my Micro. Never really sat down and used it after buying it in Japan, since I was too busy with all the new stuff coming out on the DS at the time. Been playing my favorite, Zelda: A Link to the Past, since last week, and I gotta say, this little system is incredible. Clear & crisp screen, beautiful design, I consider it the only handheld that truly fits in a pocket (3DSXL is nice and all, but it beats the whole purpose of the handheld idea IMO).
Since we all love looking at the beautiful sleek design of the thing, here's a pic.

Are the micros region free btw?
Missed an auction yesterday on a boxed copy. No units on sale in my country, trying to find one that is in good condition from ebay/amazon.
Are the micros region free btw?
Yes, they are. It's not until the Nintendo DSi does a Nintendo handheld have region locking.
This thread got me interested in getting one so I hit up ebay to see how much it would run me...dear lord these things are expensive. The cheapest one I found was something like $100. They look cool but for that much I'll have to pass.
