No it isn't. Duscae has better foliage.
This explains those shitty screeanshots.
While I agree Duscae had better foilage overall, I think it's worse here because you're in a desert looking area.
I think a lot more here improved if we're looking at the new trailers as well. The lighting being the biggest thing as it's much more natural.

Went online yesterday to order a GI sub, excited that my first issue will be the XV cover story.

GI have played the whole first chapter. I doubt SE showed them one thirds of game. FFXIII has 13 (or 14？chapters by the way.
Pretty sure the game will have 15 chapters, just like XIII had 13 chapters.

You never get the current issue of a magazine when subscribing. That's a sort of relic based on the fact you usually buy the current issue in a store and then mail in one of the subscription cards they place in the middle.
Basically the working assumption is you have the current book, you'll get the next one.

I want to know if the CG scenes from 2013 trailer are still in the game or did they get rid of them because of the movie?

Probably all in the movie now. Most of the Versus stuff was converted to the movie.

I hope not, i want to see the invasion CG in game as well, not only in the movie, also characters designs in the movie is very different from the game.
The game is very much from the perspective of Noctis. We haven't seen any scenes in the recent game trailers that shows Noctis out of the picture. Since Noctis isn't at the invasion they are not going to show it in the game.
Yea the designs are different and that's by choice.
Miserable Pile of Secrets. Infamously cheesy line from the opening of SoTN.
The scene of Luna with the Leviathan, also the scene of Luna in the Dawn trailers.
Most/all the cutscene footage we've seen is from the beginning when the party just got news of the invasion. Basically chapter 1. I wouldn't jump to conclusions. There are going to be flashbacks, like the kid Luna flashback we've seen in the Dawn trailer.
The invasion, if they show it in-game won't be as fleshed out as it is in Kingsglaive, but they'll still probably show something.
