(The sample size was 20 matches)
Clearly in games journalism they don't teach you basic statistics. This doesn't fucking work.
Second of all, Little Mac is completely useless off the ground. just air combat him and bait him off stage.
(The sample size was 20 matches)
He's completely balanced.
This is some Sentinel day one MVC3 shit.
Deathstroke knee jerk all over again.
Sadly. I was so hype for Arthur too and then that match and the upcoming months showed me otherwise lol. Oh well.Never forget Team ASS going on an absurd streak until Marn came through and put us on to the early peak of Marvel 3's end game with Zero. :lol
So far during Twitch tournaments fast, aggressive play has really been rewarded even with pros. But Little Mac can't be played that way....I thought this was the "usual Smash Bros tactic".
@_@
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeup.
Its always the first reaction to anything decently strong.
Gotta' give a game at least a few months and some consistent tourney results for the actual bullshit to show itself.![]()
Little Mac is more like a Casual Filter than overpowered.
At least Kotaku ranked each fighter in an article: http://kotaku.com/super-smash-bros-3ds-characters-ranked-1643390632
It's a joke article.
They don't need to nerf Little Mac, they just need to add platforms to For Glory/Omega stages...
"Man, lots of people sure use Ken, better make an article about it"
knowing how to deal with lil mac would mean actually dedicating time to fighting games.
do game "journalists" have the dedication/time for that? this be some basic shit
He's completely balanced.

Well when you play on a stage with little arial game like the Omegas I could see it. Add some platforms and his drawbacks are hugely apparent.

FUCK little mac
I honestly feel like the people who are saying "He's not THAAT bad" are just being contrarian.
He's THAT bad.

Even little things like disabling the Flying Man in Magicant would go a long way.
This is the one remaining thing that Sakurai needs to get his head out his arse on. So many stages in this game are utterly ruined by their hazards and its not just competitive players saying that this time.Sakurai said:You will still be able to control the apparition of items, but you won't be able to turn off stage hazards. If we did that, you'd find yourself with PSASB!
A sample size of 20 individuals would be laughable in any serious academic research. If the matches were random, that's (almost) fine. Statistics is all about applying random samples of small groups to large populations.
I actually think he's fairly balanced for Omega stages. He needs a lot of room to work efficiently, and his air play isn't that good. If you can space yourself, Little Mac isn't that harder to manage with than other fighters. Basically:

Of course, what he misses with his awful recovery, he gains with his agile groundplay and his powerful smash attacks. I can certainly see him being a little overpowered in his home stage, for instance.
SFIV Ken issue you mean everyone online using him and not the OP part right?
FUCK little mac

You can go on youtube and see some pros beat Little Mac. He's a tough fighter for sure, but he has weaknesses, especially because it seems like a lot of people playing as Little Mac online aren't actually playing to his strengths but rather just relying on his knockout power.
Someone like Duck Hunt Dog, for example, or Rosalina even would have a field day with Little Mac. Keep your distance, zone and pressure, hit him in the air, and bait/force Little Mac to the edge and make your opponent gamble on big hits.
I disagree that Rosalina would have a field day with Mac, with Mac's large knockback on tons of moves, Luma is easily gimped.
