I said it from the end of season 1. Dany will come in with dragons and fire and an army from one way and the dead will come over The Wall and attack from another.

Now the tricky part is who aligns with who? Does everyone unite to destroy the dead? Or does the north align with Dany to take down Joffery and and fight off the dead and then break up the kingdoms into North and South.

7 kingdoms really is too much anyways and spring cleaning is in order.

She certainly "delivered" when it came to killing Renly.

I wonder if Dany would make Jorah her King, or if she eventually finds somebody in Westeros. I don't want any of these questions answered, just something that's been on my mind if she manages to take the throne.

Simping should never be rewarded.

I'm sure once she sees Joffrey she'll fall in love. He's just too handsome

I think she'd be the type to have a consort. The only person who would have the title of King would be her son who would succeed her.

Huh, Shae seems fine to me.

P.S. Why does Sansa keep making dumb decisions? First she doesn't go with the Hound, now she wants to leave with slimy Littlefinger instead? Not to mention stupidly talking to that other girl and her grandmother.

The Hound's scene with Sansa last season is one of those things unfortunately that made perfect sense in the books but made zero sense on screen.

It might make more sense if you watch this audition by the actor trying out for the part of the Hound. This was supposed to be in Season 1 episode 4 but didn't make the cut. It's the Hound talking to Sansa. It's not a spoiler.

Do you think a fan would actually try to kill Martin if that happened? The end of he story would just be a scene where Dany and Joffrey have hot filthy sex while their joint armies slaughter everyone else.

I could have sworn they kept a similar scene in the show.

I'm waiting for Ser Barristan to finally show us all why he's regarded as the finest fighter in the kingdoms. I just hope it doesn't turn into a Yoda-esque fight scene with him summersaulting around the iron throne. :-

Brienne was awesome taking down Jaime. Shame she made the classic mistake of showing mercy to some random guy. No place for that in these dark days! Looking forward to see what happens to them both next week.

I guess the brotherhood gang aren't chummy with the Lannisters if that is what the interrogators were after. Gives me some optimism about arya's position.

According to them they fight against the lords (some kind of anarchist group?), so I'm not really sure about that.

It was. In season one there is a brief scene where Ned is on the Iron Throne while Robert is on his death bed and he dispatches Sir Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr, along with a few dozen soldiers to the north to try and reign in The Mountain and Lannisters.

The Brotherhood Without Banners

A group of outlaws, they answer to Lord Beric Dondarrion, who was tasked by Ned Stark, then Hand of the King, to bring Gregor Clegane to justice. With Joffrey Baratheon's ascension to the throne, Lord Beric's men became a guerilla force, sabotaging the Lannisters' Riverlands forces at every opportunity.

It's not much of a leap of logic...

Apparently it is, since no one here had made that connection. Please don't jump from clues we've seen in the show to assuming we now know everything in the book.

Ah, well then I suppose it's fair game with tags.

So on a scale of one to Ned, how fucked is Arya?

in this series, it's always best to assume that everyone is fucked to Ned.

Every episode is basically an episode of Pinky and the Brain. Sansa, Sam, and Hodor are Pinky, and everyone else is the Brain, trying to take over the world.

I would add Rickon to that list. I mean, he named his dire wolf Shaggydog for heaven's sake!

I know I'm late, but great episode, the kid who plays Joffrey is a good actor and they're doing a nice job of capturing how much of a sociopath he is. The fact he seems to open up to Margaery when she shows interest in killing said enough.

Holy shit, I forgot ALL ABOUT THAT.

This changes my entire viewpoint of the end of this most recent episode. Now I'm even MORE excited for Sunday.

I thought I remembered his name from somewhere.

Oh, duh, I knew I heard that name before. That's pretty cool and exciting, then.
