Also, Shae's actress is just really bad. She sounds like she's reading off cue cards, or repeating someone else's words.
When you learn your acting chops through porno, you're bound to pick up bad habits

No, they're only introduced at that stage, although one of them (Thoros, the leader of that group) was mentioned in season 1 by Jory.

Don't really see the problem either, she actually won quite a lot of German awards.I wonder if people would criticize her acting so much if they didn't know that fact.
I've always thought she was fine on the show.
By the way what happened to Arya's sword? I think it was called little needle or something like that?

easily the best character of the show![/QUOTE]
When the blu came out and I rewatched s2, I couldn't agree more. He is SO good. Actually, my favorite little moment in this show is when he nonchalantly kicks a chicken when Arya talks to him. He just nailed every scene.

I think some people have got the Queen of Thorns name from the HBO new character introduction thing they did (not just the books). I think that's how Diana Rigg introduced herself. I hope there's an interesting reasoning behind the name, it can't just be due to the Tyrell Rose.
Wasn't Needle (what ever the name of the sword was) taken by The Tickler (or another guard) when they were capture before going to Harrenhal? (Answered better by Raist)
Ah, yeah, now I remember. Too bad that she didn't get it back. The sword seemed important to me, especially after all the training.Needle. Was confiscated by Lorch, who was killed by H'gaar. She didn't seem to have got it back.
Huh, Shae seems fine to me.
P.S. Why does Sansa keep making dumb decisions? First she doesn't go with the Hound, now she wants to leave with slimy Littlefinger instead? Not to mention stupidly talking to that other girl and her grandmother.
I don't think that there's one. She's the matriarch of the Tyrells, their motif is the rose and she was quite thorny in the episode. A lot of the nicknames in-universe are just from the persons heraldry and their current stature in life.

Eh, I'd lose a bit of respect for the show if it is the same actor. I like the idea of the dude with no identity using disposable facades.
For reference I've subscribed to this thread and will try to moderate it as best I can, but I do sleep and get busy, so if I miss something obvious or somebody is acting up and I don't notice, feel free to PM me about it.
Something else I wondered, why did the Hound call Arya a bitch when he offered to help Sansa leave King's Landing last season? I would've thought he grew a soft spot for the girls.
Who is the gang that captured arya and the hound? Are we supposed to know who they are?
Does "acting up" include the annoying people who lose their shit whenever they see a black bar despite them being appropriately used?
They're the ones shitting up the thread.
Anyway, I get the feeling that this series ends with Dany on the iron throne.
She's just been doing her own thing while all the other contenders tear each other apart and I have to think the dragons grow up and come into play at some stage.
Haha, Bronn is probably my favorite character by now.

The deck seems just too stacked in her favor. I mean, the dragons alone are game over. Add to that, eventually a horde of Dothraki (Mongols/Huns), basically worshiping her as a goddess. Add to that a few thousand Unsullied (Mamluks/Jannissaries). Of the historically based Eastern bad-asses it's only Martin's equivalent of the Assassins she hasn't got her hands on yet. She's just too obvious of a winner. So I'm afraid she's gonna end up with a dagger in her back.
Amory Loch isn't the same guy who stole Needle, he was an underling named Polliver with a shaved head

Arya and Sansa are nothing alike though. Arya's hated him since he killed her friend in season 1.
How many Dothraki has Dany got? I can't recall the show detailing that though I probably missed it.

It is interesting just watching her as she doesn't engage the conflict and slowly builds an army. Really too, she has the rightful claim to the throne as well.

I'm not entirely sure, at least not about Dany's dragons. She seems to have sort of a telepathic connection to them. I'm guessing that would make it harder. This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway. Ever since they introduced the wargs I've been wondering if it is possible for a warg to control dragons. Could it happen or is this scenario too outlandish?
I wonder what Barristan's allegiance can bring to the table. He's clearly a very skilled fighter, and probably carries some influence. Dany's forming up a pretty formidable team. Can't wait to see those dragons grow. They eat fish, now, but.. what will 3 fully grown dragons eat? Cows? Horses? Slave armies?
I'm salivating at all the possible battles going on in my mind, with 3 dragons going apeshit overhead.

I'm going to say no on that. Typically, dragons are portrayed as being very intelligent (or at least, on par with Man's intelligence), strong-willed, greedy, and often arrogant and self centered. I think perhaps Dany could do it because they'd allow it because of her bond with them, but I can't see anyone else doing it, certainly not by force. Unless Melisandre?
I'm just winging this though really.

One of my favourite Arya/Jaqen(?) moments was after Arya gives him his name and he says, "The girl has no honour", and she just shrugs her shoulders.
Beric Dondarion is played by a different actor. Believe the old guy developed some health issue.Have there been any new actors replacing old ones this season?

I had no idea he was in S2.
Very brief scene in Season 1. Ned gives him the order to gather men and hunt down Gregor Clegane for terrorizing the common folk.I had no idea he was in S2.
Yessss

This makes a lot of sense. And now that I think of it, the dragons do seem to have more personality and independence than the other creatures in Westeros. A part of me wants this to happen so that if she wins the crown Daenerys seems a less obvious winner of it.I'm going to say no on that. Melissandre could be as powerful as she claims but I've learned never to trust anyone in Westeros making such promises. I guess we'll see if she is able to deliver when the time comes.
She certainly "delivered" when it came to killing Renly.
