We need to get Marc Antony off that shit The Following

He would have been perfect as that Wildling who's rolling with Mance and Jon mistook him for Mance (name escapes me). Can't separate Mark Antony and Ceasar.

Ray Stevenson has to be on this show though. After what he brough to Dexter and Rome he'd make GoT so awesome.

I know the writers have to include lots of characters to give episodes variety, but I hope they don't shy away from Blackwater style episodes where it's all in one place.

My main gripe with the show at the moment is that each character's story is too fragmented. We got what, 1-2 minutes of Jon Snow this week.

Whereas they could have had a 5-10 segment with Jon.

I just get settled into a scene and then it changes.
According to the IGN review episdoe 9 will be blackwater-like with one story one location.

I thought she was talking more about Stannis family

edit: nevermind just remembered that he doesn't have sons/daughters

It's in the OP, but here's a bigger picture.

You are right. I thought the same, but then I remembered that she claimed that she would give him a heir unlike his wife, who's very sick/barren.

Welp. So he has at least a daughter, but no sons. Future doesn't seem too bright for her now...

[*]That bit about the Inn where Arya and the rest of the brotherhood were... was that the place where the Hound killed that young boy for being with Arya when Joffrey got bit?

i was wondering what Arya was referring to when she asked the Hound if he remembered the place...this must be it.

also, i'm very happy with what happened to jaime. dude was one of those pricks that is born into a well-to-do family but treats those under him like shit. he was finally starting to show a softer side by helping brienne, but he's still an arrogant cock in my book. now we'll see how he has to change.

I wasn't completely sure when I wrote that post (hazzy memory, wrote between assignments), so I left it as "nobleman".

I am not saying your assessment was wrong, I am just saying it holds even more weight because its family. odds are if that was just some random nobleman, Robb would have taken his head.

I just think they need to quit it with stupid scenes, even if they're only a minute long. Who cares about Robb's wife talking to random Lannisters.

I hope Jaimie ends up learning how to wield a sword with one hand + a stump/hook if he doesn't die. Can't believe the show was able to get me to like/feel sorry for him in the space of 1-3 episodes. I wonder how his father will react.

I still hate Daenerys and want her dead.

I hope the season doesn't string out Arya and only show a 1 minute scene of her in the woods every episode, she's my favorite part of the show I want to see her storyline as often as possible. As well as the return of that shape shifting character.

That witch prophecy red fire lady storyline is still dumb to me, have no clue what it's about.

Catelyn scenes are boring, but I am looking forward to her and Robb finding out the kids are alive.

the Jaimie/Brienne and King's Landing storylines are the most interesting ones for me currently. I'm also kinda curious about what happens to Theon. Jon Snow has been the most irrelevant main character for a long time now, though that might change if the wall falls

I was so floored by the ending of season 1, that I hope we can get back to that soon. I want Goffrey, Cersei, Stannis and Theon to all croak in the next episodes. It would be awesomely shocking. I know it won't happen but still.

The sex scenes don't add anything, except for 13 year olds tuning in for boobs I guess. I was hoping that time could be better spent on other character development. Also, I want some of that brown bread the fat kid made :)

"I could have that head on a spike by now. Instead, I have a mill" - King in the North

Great writing.

No, that scene added a lot of character to the show. There wasn't even any sex in it...

I don't understand why Tywin is sending Littlefinger to the Eyrie considering how the lord of the Eyrie feels about the Lannisters (who they blame for the death of their previous lord). "Bringing them into the fold?" How do they expect to do that? Littlefinger has a golden tongue, but I don't think he's THAT good. I'd put him in that sky prison as soon as he arrives.

The scene with Littlefinger and the Imp I agree with. The rest?

Liked this episode a lot more than the last one... but it's just like S2, it just takes some time to set everything up and I guess the end will be a great payoff.

I can't believe that Daenerys gave up one of her dragons.... to me the most "boring" storyline at the moment is John Snow/Wall guys. Everything else I realy like.

Littlefinger was childhood friends with her, he has the best chance of making it happen.

Lysa (or is it Lisa?) is batshit insane and Cat hates his guts.

Not gonna happen... unless he offers Cat her daugther/s in exchange, of course. Then again, Robb may have something to say about that.

I honestly don't see where this could go.

Read some book spoilers as I was impatient, not that far into the future but enough to make me wish I hadn't =( I skimmed through them though so I don't know the context in which certain events happen, so at least I'll be surprised by that.

If it weren't for Bronn's scenes this would have been a really bad episode. It's the first time I've had the urge to fast forward through GoT.

So Littlefinger's mission could also have The Lost Lady Sansa at the Vale with her aunt? Currently The Knights of the Vale have been untouched, and stand as one of the more powerful kingdoms at this point in time. Interesting.

Not that I'm outraged or anything (your post is as inocuous as they come), but I posted something like that a few pages ago and I had to delete it not to piss anybody off. I suggest you do the same ;)

It's best to pretend the books don't exist in this thread and don't speculate/talk in public about whatever you read by mistake. That's what I do.

Fuck this shit, nothing happens and then they cut off the hand of my favorite character. Seriously everytime i get to watch a new episode i'm just hoping i can see him in action, that little fight on the bridge was awesome.

I love this show but sometimes man.

Sorry I won't do that anymore, still though I didn't say anything lol can't imagine why someone would be upset over that.
