I guess there is a launch party at Gamecrazy in Redmond for the DS. Lots of Nintendo of America people, not that they are famous. Had a good 50 people there with 5 or 6 demo stations.

I rented MGS3 and ran away.

I guess Nintendo was telling the local news station who had a remote at the gamecrazy that this was the ONLY store in the nation open at midnight to sell the DS.

You didn't stay the whole time? I was there from 10PM until 1:45AM. My roommate won FIFA for the GBA and $10. My other friend came in 2nd in the SSBM tournament and get $10 and a shirt.

Then purchase time came around. Fuzzy got Mario Paint and SoAL. I got Timesplitters 1 and SuperMario 64 DS. They were in such a hurry, they didn't even ring up Timesplitters. Oh well.

I'm picking my DS up in a bit from Gamestop.
