Absolutely. Everyone knew that to be the case, even when they tried to spin it differently.
They’d be foolish not to make these changes, but they painted themselves in a corner now. Price increases, expecting people to pay real money for GP, and removing day one releases, might wreck Game Pass. I don’t see how subs don’t drop after all of this.

Day one releases were never a good thing. It cannibalized much needed sales and devalued the games. Finally, MS is admitting it by changing course. A lot of people will be upset over this but should have realized this would never last forever.
