Haven't played Fable 1 (yet), but I found Fable II and III's stories to be entertaining except for the rushed last act of Fable III. The ending in the Traitor's Keep DLC was much better than the ending in vanilla Fable III.The exploration part I get, that's why I play them, but story? I didn't think the stories were good in any of them.
249.99 price point with a redesign? Or is the price drop too early?
I will give it a go when the full version comes out, but I doubt it will scratch my Fable itch. Fable is more than just colourful graphics and quirky Britishness to me. It's also about story, exploration and interaction with NPCs.
A bigger focus on multiplayer means that those aspects will not be as prevalent as in Fable I-III. The 4v1 element was especially disappointing to hear about, as it means that each level will have to be designed with that in mind.
Edit: and while I might end up liking it, I'd still want Fable IV anyway. Just like I still want a new proper Banjo-Kazooie even though I ended up enjoying my time with Nuts & Bolts.
Nah son, if they did drop the price they should drop it in EU region, but it won't be that big of a drop.
Redesign would be cool and I think increase sales.
Maybe Lionhead realized that people want a real fable game and legends gets delayed.
You can constantly find a ps4 for less than 249 in Europe these days.
Microsoft needs to drop hard.

#gamescom2015 is tomorrow and #KillerInstinct will be there! I wonder what announcements there will be....?
I know they've said this before, but I doubt that it'll be be on the same level as the main series. Those 3 have been promised by Lionhead on several occasions and while I can't say too much about the story the Blood of heroes book gives you a good taste of what these new heroes are all about. I hate not being able to talk about the game when people have all these worries but, GC is tomorrow so i'm sure Lionhead will let you guys see more on the subject tomorrow.
I agree with you second statement as well (the edit) it's just different and that is not always a bad thing.
I know they've said this before, but I doubt that it'll be be on the same level as the main series.
-Will there be a similar amount of story as there was in the previous Fables?
-Will the story be more organic than "cutscene before mission + cutscene after mission"? If it is more organic, how will they please the co-op players that just wants to run around and kill monsters?
-Will it have a cohesive story rather than random missions from the wilderness?
-How will they be able to include the choices/be-the-hero elements from Fable 1-3?
-Will your co-op buddies be okay with you roaming around the level and exploring instead of helping them fight the baddies?
-Will they include content for single-player gamers that have been shunned by said co-op buddies because no one wants to play with someone that just runs around to explore stuff?
-Will there be more cities/villages than Brightlodge?
-Will you be able to roam through the entire world without having to enter a menu?
Indeed.I reckon it's fairly safe to assume 'no' to most of those.

I know what kind of game it is. My questions were mostly rhetorical. I voiced my disappointment/concerns about the multiplayer focus earlier in the thread. It's not a "real" Fable game. It's a very different beast. It's cool, but do not go in expecting a open world RPG from it.
If you expect L4D - Fable Edition with persistent RPG elements and character building then you will be happy

Indeed.
The game might have some form of exploration, NPC interactions and a story, but the multiplayer focus makes it nearly impossible to design it in the same way as the original Fable games.
I'd be seriously impressed if they managed to do it, though!
21 hours 40 minutes. How many hours to the conference?
How many hours to the conference?
It's definitely going to be different from the main series we know the over arching story will be released in seasons with at least 15 missions(IGN interview from a year ago).
I can say no to some of those questions as of right now and maybe / yes to a few as well . But, I don't know how the final thing will work only how it is now. I believe Lionhead has heard the worries about this game and are going to try and do their best to alleviate them to the best of their abilities.
Will someone make a spoiler free OT with links to the conference On Demand?
I could do, following up my E3 Spoiler Thread. I'm not sure about the demand for such a thread though.
Who's making the OT again?
Are you guys expecting this conference to be as big or bigger than the E3 one?

Way better. Look at the lineup. Quantum Break alone is more interesting than anything they had for E3.
I'd love to see a new Halo demo. I really want a good showcase of the campaign that gets me hyped. I loved the beta, but the E3 campaign demo didn't do much for me yet. I'm sure I'll love the game, I just want another tease!
I predicted this at E3, but what are the chances we see EA on stage to announce a DA:I large story expansion (akin to Awakening) with the news that DA:I is available right now in the Vault (was previously announced as later this summer at E3).
I believe the DA:I Producer has been on record saying there is still more story content coming? And, I mean, the ending kind of hinted that they need at least another DLC.
I would love a spoiler thread. I'm going to be traveling with limited internet access![]()
Nahh, I think QB will be sooner. I think they could have had it ready for this Holiday season if need be, but since their release schedule was already so packed with Halo/TR, they pushed it back to early spring.
I think Recore will be a May game, and Scalebound will get pushed back to second Half of the year......Here would be my release prediction.
March 2016 -- Quantum Break
May/June 2016 -- Recore
Aug/Sep. 2016 -- Scalebound
September 2016 -- Forza Horizon 3
October 2016 -- Crackdown
November 2016 -- Gears 4
"Spring 2017" -- Sea of Theives
Of coarse that is just speculation, and there could be a spot for Halo Wars 2 in there (if it gets announced).
Huh?No gameplay thus far yet for Gears of War 4 so I would be very surprised if it's a holiday 2016 release.
Too long without any HaloMarch 2016 - Fable Legends
May 2016 - ReCore and Scalebound
September 2016 - Forza Horizon 3
October 2016 - Crackdown 3
November 2016 - Quantum Break
March 2017 - Sea of Thieves
September 2017 - Forza 7
November 2017 - Gears of War 4
