Have you tried kissing him passionately on the mouth to get him to stop talking? That seems to always work well in romantic comedies.

Btw Alco are you watching ANTM All Stars? They should get Nicki Minaj as a permanent judge, her commentary was harsh but spot on.

No sorry I don't. I just like Tyra :)

ANTM is so good, Alco. You must watch! Although, the All-Stars season might be a weird place to jump in. But if you're coming for the Tyra, I suppose it's as good of a place as any.

Having said that, even the first elimination was so heart-wrenching, because I already know and love all these girls from having watched each season. I'm not sure I can take watching them all go home. Except for Alexandria, bitch can go home now.

Brittany from Cycle 13 went to college with me. It was total bullshit that they eliminated her for being "too calculated." She and Nicole should have been the final two for sure.

I just learned Amber Heard is a lesbian in that thread about Henry Cavill's epic bulge, and now I suddenly like her. Isn't it interesting how human affinity develops sometimes?

I tried to talk to him about it and he just thought I was being silly. But, it honestly REALLY annoys me. Not sure what to do, or if I should let the 90583945th phase my boyfriend is going through pass.

When I read your post it send me back when I was reading in a bed and read a text that forever changed how I approach relationships. So I share this wisdom I learned from a prominent psychologist called Carl Rogers.
... an observation Rogers often stated about all human relationships played an important part, that is, when strong and persistent feelings are unexpressed, the relationship will be affected adversely.

Never heard of that word before, so I thought it was something sexy. What have you been studying/teaching/practicumming :P?

Well studying Videogame Design. (mostly focused on art and I suck at art area :P)

They should totally start speaking Japanese at eachother.

As it is, I think he's doing it purposely to annoy him. So he should ignore the dude and call it a snoozefest/etc. like the dude did previously to him.

I think he'd be sabotaging his own relationship. I wouldn't recommend being vindictive/revenge.

Oh nice, that's awesome! How do you like it so far?

Well I'm more of a game designer than an artist but I can pretty much make stage layouts and some basic modeling but I like it a lot.

To answer above: he's almost 30 yrs old.

I just ended up once more stressing how annoying he's being. His reaction was rather obnoxious, saying it just gives him more fuel to learn the language. That he likes when people are against what he wants to do.

He doesn't really understand the point.

Anyways, I've had a crappy week at work (actually, last 10 years of work) and don't really want to deal with this shit. Doubt we'll talk much this weekend, unless I feel like hearing a few dozen annoying "GOMENNESAI!"s. Sigh.

Annnnd my dog just shit in the house.

Time to drop it like it's hot.

Mhmm......

Time to ABANDON SHIP.

I honestly do not understand the problem here. You just find his new interest annoying?

I find it a little concerning when someone says "you find it annoying only makes me want to do it more intensely!"

Think the problem is that his "new interest" is "Flink's "old interest", on which the boyfriend gave him a hard time and even started arguments with.

Is like you like chocolate. You bf hates it, says you suck for liking chocolate and should rot in hell. Years pass, you still enjoy it, don't mind..but he's the biggest fan ever and chocolate's the best thing ever and you're wrong for not liking it as much as he does and gives you a hard time for that.

Or something like that. :p

That too. :p

Though I wouldn't recommend leaving him. I mean, they've been together for 5 years; so at least talk things out. :p

I am really not a fan of my body hair. Just everything from the belt down. Too much for my taste. I can take care of the 'package' but I don't want to completely shave my hair, just trim it for a shorter cut. Does anyone have any recommendations for products?

I literally have no idea why I am asking this here besides the fact I am gay and I am kinda self-conscious about it and this is the only forum on gaf where its appropriate without improperly 'bumping' threads...so sorry?

I saw the shaving body hair signal and came running (thanks moblin) Anyways thinking of products just get some shaving gel and go to work with some water. Be SUPER careful and dont use fucking Nair that will burn like a motherfucker. Could try Veet but i'm not sure how that works down there. This is when i should be asking my bf what he uses. -_-

I use a scissors with a very thin blade and a small electric shaver that's for use with body hair (that my Mam gave me... XD).

As it's an electric shaver I don't even use shaving cream, just take 10-15 minutes before a shower every other week to shave the butt and sides of the thighs and sides of my tummy, and then use the scissors to keep everything else nice and short. Showering afterwards helps me to catch any spots I missed and helps my skin not to get sore, and the day after I might use some moisturiser or body cream stuff.

Perhaps someone can correct me if this is wrong, but I do believe that (especially around one's 'root' where you might want to limit hair growth) you're better off trimming with a scissors anyways as if you shave it the hair will grow back thicker?

It is imperative that you take your time, although I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this. Taking my time I have never hurt myself, but I have nicked myself from time to time. Then I just use some antiseptic cream.

Hope that helps!

I still think it's pretty cool :P

I'm in the midst of trying to figure out if I'm in the right major (currently biochemistry). Turns out I don't like science as much as I thought I would haha. Currently taking an intro to java class because I took a bunch of classes in high school and liked it. But back then I couldn't imagine sitting at a computer all day and coding which is why I didn't initially major in it. And right now I can't tell if the reason I like the intro to java class is because I already know everything discussed so far, hence making it easy, or if it's because I actually legit like coding. My real issue is that I feel like I'm already so deep into my biochem major (already a junior/five courses away from finishing the majors requirement) that I might as well finish it and then just minor or double major in comp sci. Decisions decisions.

That's the worst part, the message didn't say. I know he had Diabetes but I thought it wasn't this bad.
That really sucks =( I hope you find out the details. My condolences for your friend. And if you ever need a place to talk about gaf is always here!

So something like this and some small scissors would work then?

Allright, thanks :)

Revenge makes for the best sex, don't you know?

I asked in the boy age thread but apparently it died so I might as well ask this here.

so, "gaydar", how the hell to develop one? I've been living in Rio de Janeiro for 4 months so I know I should have been much more lucky, but still I have no freaking clue, I'm sure there might be some pointers or something, besides the obvious "go to gay bar" which I've done already, but well I want more than bar hookups, I'm talking about things like work, acquaintances, etc, I know most of you are american but there has to be some common ground culturally. Any help would be really appreciated.

In my dream world, all men in Brazil are gay.
