I'm a Nintendo fan, I usually love their games (with a few exceptions... Looking at you Mario Sunshine) but I try to avoid partaking in "debates" about them because they're usually pointless and get really stupid. They've made a bunch of dumb decisions lately but as long as their game keeps being as good as they were during the Wii era (SMG 1&2 are probably my favorite platformers ever), I'll keep buying their consoles at some point.

Halo, even going back to the first one, seemed to me like the kind of thing only 15yr olds would think was cool.
I've heard that before. Seems like Japan in particular is very white-centric. It does seem to be true if you look at anime and video games. Rarely a black (or latino) character and when there is one, it's very stereotypical. I haven't done a lot of research on the subject though so can't say how true or accurate that is.
Phantasy Star 4 is my favorite RPG. Going to go against the grain here though and say 2 sucks. The fact that you have to grind to level 10 in the beginning of the game and that your characters move like they're walking in molasses in the overworld lowers the quality for me.

I am trying to do a 100% file of Mega Man Powered Up on PSP but it's hard, has anyone done or tried it?
I've done almost everything that could be considered hard but I have a problem beating Fire Man with Oil Man in the hardest difficulty, I don't get anywhere near beating it and it has no pattern so I am not sure what to do...

I'm also re-playing Skyrim. My character is a archer (my first character was a mage) I forgot how good this game was, I'm hooked. I'm also playing halo 4 as my go to multiplayer game and I will be playing Fallout 3 and NV (for the first time) after Skyrim

My first character was a morally ambiguous archer. This time I'm going for a neutral good mage. It means no stealing, no murdering without just cause, etc. I'm looking forward to it quite a lot.

NSMB U and Trine 2 on WiiU, replaying Bayonetta on PS3 and am also busy with Prince of Persia on Xbox360. When I commute I play 4 Heroes of Light on my DS or Persona 3 on PSP.

I tried but I'm just embarrassed every time I try to play pyro. I barely scratch other players when I get burnt to a crisp in 1sec by other pyros, ha.

Me and my bf have always been Nintendo loyalists from the beginning. Sure, we have all the systems nowadays, but I've almost entirely stopped playing them now that Nintendo has their own shiny HD system = D Maybe it's not a trend that's on here, but in my life, most of my friends that are gay and also play games, are nearly all only into Nintendo games/franchises. (With a couple exceptions, but they still play Nintendo games with us)
What are your thoughts on Lament of Innocence? Castlevania purists and critics didn't really like it. Even though I had to learn that it kind of is like a dungeoncrawler with items that let you explore more of the game ala Metroid to fully enjoy it, it has one of the best Catlvania soundtracks ever imo.
