You mean you used it before, game got revoked and now you can't redeem it again? Yeah that won't work. Only nvidia codes that weren't redeemed to begin with seem to work.

They'll probably do another revoke in a week or two, depending on numbers of games redeemed I guess and if its worthwhile.
Well, they had already put the Amazon codes in a blacklist so they couldn't be redeemed, so i'm not entirely sure why they would lift that blacklist unless The Coalition wasn't being entirely truthful with their statement of knowing which codes were from the glitch and it started affecting legit costumers too. Just speculation on my part though.

Wouldn't suggest using a code that could be banned at any time.
Who knows. Maybe it is a long game to dissuade people from the secondhand market.
If you know there are banned keys out there and that some sellers can't resist a fast buck, a second ban wave would convince people it's not worth buying any Gears code as you would have no way of knowing if your seller was legit or was a scammer trying to sell a reactivated code as a legit one.

Yeah kinda seema like this could be the case. I'm just going to hold off for an actual sale on the game now, too much uncertainty surrounding the keys.

Well, I don't know if this will help those who are looking to buy a cheap key, but, I bought a GTX 1070 from Amazon France last week. Same moment they sent me an email informing my order was just shipped, they also sent me an email with the Nvidia promo key, I redeemed the key and it worked, it got tied to my MSN account and I managed to download the preload.
tldr: apparently codes provided by other Amazon online stores (France, Germany, Spain, UK..) work, plus, Amazon is still providing codes, so this issue might only affect Amazon.com

After a shitshow of a customer support, I finally got a second key for the GPU I bought... although not from Amazon. I had to return the card and get it in another online store.
Now, what should I do to activate it if I had a key (unfairly) revoked in my account? Do I need to cancel something first?

Wait. That isn't directed to people who had a legit code, got revoked and now have a second one. Do I need to make any changes to my NVIDIA or Microsoft accounts before redeeming it? Some people reported having issues with a second key.

I don't think that's really the right guide for you.
Once you get the code, just redeem it again and then after you've logged in to your Microsoft account it'll separately ask for an email address. It won't let you use the one you used last time, so just use another. Doesn't matter if it's different to your Microsoft one and then it'll be redeemed to your account.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but my copy of Gears 4 was voided a few days ago and it still shows up as 'live' sometimes when I load up the Windows store. It's something weird with their servers.

Edit: Well. I called to ebay and they said that since it's a digital item the refund claim needed to be do through paypal with a new transaction ID that they gave me

And then he posts two gifs of his browser saying "code has already been redeemed" on the nvidia site and also somehow the next screen after that showing the code is for Gears 4, with presumably another code he used. Now we all now this is irrelevant since the revoking was done days after all these steps in the Windows 10 store.
Now I have to wait for Ebay to step in apparently and I haven't been given a chance to respond. I really hope they end up siding with me in the end but I'm actually kinda scared they won't if the person evaluating the case is fooled by the seller's excuses.
It's given me a big hassle and now I don't feel like playing Gears 4 at all anymore!

Paypal and ebay nearly always side with the buyer in my experience with some actual evidence, one of the reasons I stopped selling stuff there.

You should add to your claim that you didn't know that it was against the rules for users to sell digital codes so why was this scammer allowed to sell digital codes on their website. Post a screenshot of one of the news article or Nvidia site talking about the breach of stolen codes. Post a screenshot of what it says when you try to redeem the code.
I am the ultimate eBay case winner. I got a bunch of Call of Duty Ghost skin codes that weren't available at all they were exclusive ones from some kind of private event, but I was selling them for $100 a pop and someone tried to open up a claim a month after and claimed credit card fraud saying that they were hacked and didn't make that purchase on their eBay. I hit them with so much shit. I even found the kid on twitter showing off his siq camo skin. I mean I feel bad selling something for so much, but if they are going to buy it oh well.

He didn't receive negative feedback from other buyers for the same item? I think you can use that as a proof that the seller sells fraudulent codes.

That's 1 of the things I said when I called for my refund. I told the guy to look at the feedback. He did and immediately issued the refund.

Don't bother. The second "legit" code I bought (only a couple of days ago for $45 once again) from a fellow gaffer was revoked a little while ago. At this point I wouldn't trust any Windows Store codes that originate from Nvidia promos as they can, and probably will eventually revoke your license.

Yes, that's correct. If I were a betting woman I'd say all Nvidia codes for GoW4 are at risk of being revoked. Unless, of course, you got it with your video card, and you're able to provide Nvidia with proof of purchase and ownership, etc. Otherwise, it's a gamble.
I'm talking about getting keys that aren't part of the Nvidia promo. There should be a lot hitting the market starting the 11th, because they come with the Gears 4 1TB Xbox One S bundle.
