As awkward as paying $100+ to go to Blizzcon and be surrounded by these people? I don't know. Blizzard creates games and has a huge fanbase, so a large percentage of people that you will see are the type that get laughed at all the time because their inhibitions are thrown out the window.

I mean, I laugh at a lot of them because they are really obsessed over some things (raids, difficulty levels, balance issues, lore, legendary items, etc) and you just gotta take it in your stride. Some of those people are the same ones you play alongside every night, so shrug. Everyone has their own crazy manifestation of themselves when it concerns a hobby they enjoy. We just get the privilege to actually see it in action.
