Probably. If its full price, its likely cause it includes both games and the MP or the MP and something else or something as I'm positive Ghost Of Tsushima was full price as a remaster with that MP and island content, but Spiderman remaster was just $39 when it was just the game alone.

What if they aren't ready? Some of you complain when devs reveal shit early and when not ready or just a trailer, but you also bitch when they don't.

Why would they comment on rumors? Some of it is made up like that leaker who exposed him self the other day.

They have 25 games in development at minimum. You're telling me not a single one is ready to be announced? Really? Not one.

Companies comment on rumours all the time. It's very common and simple to just say "We have no plans for _____ at this time". They used to do it.

Why should they reveal new games for this product I spent $750 Canadian on that just got a price increase? Really?

I spent damn near $1000 on this product, I deserve to be kept in the loop via a showcase of what to look forwards to like EVERY OTHER gaming company on earth does. Except Sony lmao.

2. Why would a remaster of a 2017 game have different controls and features? TLoUP1 barely has any new features and most are barley noticeable (sorry the new AI is no revolution). But how much is changed and updated matters. If 90% of the changes are aesthetic; models, lighting, animations etc. then it certainly matters, because that, for lack of a better term, is literally a fresh lick of paint and bleeds in to your 4th point.
3. There was no discussion of price ergo it's an unknown factor. He is hardly forcing the narrative when the latest remake was launched at full price and even if Spiderman remaster was 40 Miles (a smaller game) released at full price. It could EASILY be 70 so no need to defend the price before it's announced.
4. Remasters are only warranted when a game is so far behind the times that an update would be meaningful. HZD still looks and runs amazingly. This obviously matters; unless you missed the plethora of articles and posts regarding how unnecessary Tloup1 was for a lot of ppl. Even IGN the most shill of games media wrote an article questioning the necessity of the game and its pricing.

And the final cherry on this bad-take cake:

Again Tloup1 is the perfect example, it was for a rabbid fanbase who all ran out and preordered it to play it and gush over it again. If Sony wanted new fans to play the game they can updates the PS4 version with PS5 features, it uses the same engine as FW; a game that also released on both gens so they know how to had features to the ps4 version for the ps5, easy free patch, no money to be made with that.

It by natures disrupts development. Guerilla staff working on a remake means they ain' working on something else, it has a DIRECT unavoidable impact.

Well...when they used to do that, they also used to get the whole "DOWNGRADE" harassments or showing to early arguments and I think the idea of what Ubisoft and Sony is doing maybe makes more sense for this day and age in gaming.

If you show a game early, it gets raked over the coals, picked apart and when its ready to be released years later, folks would literally just keep looking at every last element from a work in progress. So.....I don't think it makes sense to keep doing that and maybe they have a better plan to just market when its 1 or 2 years out or something. Its probably why we just got some CGI Wolverine thing. They just need to tell you its coming, why show more when it still needs to be made and changes will occur?

Even if TLoU Part I turned out surprisingly great, Horizon doesn't deserve a remake treatment at all, even a basic remaster is completely unnecessary at this point (specially if they are going to charge full price for it).

I think most people thought that it was a remaster, but even still, it's totally unnecessary and another nickel and dime effort from Sony. They don't need people to defend them for every crappy decision they make.

Edit: the more I see of SlimySnake SlimySnake takes on things the more I am believing. Don't get me wrong, my PS5 is one of my most prized possessions but there is nothing really blowing my mind right now. I'm basically starving for a RDR2 60fps patch because there is nothing exciting on the horizon. Games have become so expensive that developers are afraid to take too many risks now.

Yes there does need to be some standards for when a remaster/remake is warranted. Your argument literally suggests that you'd be ok with a game being remade literally every year because there is "no law" against it? It's called integrity. Game runs on the same engine and its sequel already has a PS4 version. It is technically extremely doable as a patch or cheap update.
