And? Its not like the same thing happened in Ghost of Tsushima. It was very tame. And this is in a normal scenario, that woman character could be very dry in terms of body.

I'll never understand how as a society, we determined a bare buttock, something every human has, justifies something being for adults only. But acts of war and violence are often completely fine for 13+ and only hit a limit if it's sufficiently gratuitous.

The hot springs in the first game got repetitive af. Hopefully there's more variation in the open-world side content this time

Good to know, I thought for sure they'd cut that from this one... "can't have any of that for female characters, but it's okay for dudes" is their usual MO

When it was revelead that it'd be a female protagonist I feared that Sucker Punch would chicken out from the hot spring baths, but here I am happily proven wrong. Not that I find it particularly enticing. In my Scandinavian culture being nude isn't what it's like in USA or islamist countries. As we have a sauna culture many places, at least in the past, have had a very relaxed view towards nudity. We don't automatically associate nudity with sex or eroticism.

I enjoy these similiarities between Scandinavians and the Japanese.

It amuses me that an exposed buttocks is even considered remotely relevant when you can slice people up with a samurai sword.

Gonna hazard a guess they're not exposing the arse hole, so it's really no different to walking down a beach full of women in bikinis. There's like some odd distinction we make between an arse that is 95% exposed and 85% exposed.

The context in which things are presented are what matters and uncovered cheeks coming into shot for a moment as a women stands up from or descends into a sauna being even the slightest cause for concern is just bizarre to me.
