imo animations is the best part of the game.Animation work isn't feeling as polished as PS4 era titles (Tsushima)
Looks like they have cut budget in major way. Not a complaint BTW.
Looks ok. No better or worse than your typical action game.
What should be noted is how bad the AI is. Character runs around a small encampment and slashing everyone. And despite all the noise, nobody notices.
This is worse than when I played one of the Splintercell demos on 360 and you could kill a guy. And 20 ft away another guy just stands there and rotates 90s degrees at a time.
DefinitelyThis still looks like a game that can be release on base PS4.

Way too similar to the first, and the visual evolution is barely there
I hope it does not sell that well in order to send a message to Sony that we don't want copy paste sequels no more (I am doubtful though unfortunately)
Yes we spent 5 or more year's waiting for anthor ps4 game5 years
serious question: if it was suddenly announced that, along with ghost of yotei, sucker punch would also simultaneously be releasing a new infamous game, which of the 2 would you be more excited about?...
I think that new Miike Mode is turned on for the footage. Both blood and mud are exaggerated quite a bit.Lots of snow & blood splatters
That's always a big issue in games like this.Yeah that's an area we need improvement on big time. So many games have boring static worlds with shit AI.
RTGI would have made huge difference for this game but you can find some peoples who don't know anything about game graphics tech make bullshit theards attacking ray tracing tech lol,Lighting looks like complete shit. Those who bitch about RT should want that game to have it.
What I was thinking. There should have been a 30fps mode with RTGI.RTGI would have made huge difference for this game but you can find some peoples who don't know nothing about game graphics tech make bullshit theards attacking ray tracing tech lol,
No bodyshaming please!Looks super flat..
When you compare it other games twenty years ago it's just so bad. That's always a big issue in games like this.
In shooters, you can be Arnold Schwarzenegger mowing down endless enemies like it's nothing, but at least the enemies usually come after you and spray you with bullets.
In slower paced action games (esp stealthy based games), the AI enemies will have worse perception and awareness than COD. It's like every enemy has a tight 20 ft awareness radius around them and they only see you in line of sight. As I sit at home typing, I'll notice something outside 100+ ft away if it makes noise like my neighbour across the st who works on his car sometimes, or people across the street talking and laughing.
And they rarely rally the troops either if an enemy is red alerted. The games seem built where every level has zones where a guy or two patrols one radius totally independent of another radius. And they dont interact with each other.
Only select areas where there is a memory to be experienced. So no, it isn't because they are running two worlds in parallel all the time, if that's what you are wondering. Having dynamic ToD in an open world with baked lighting will always have weaknesses. I'd imagine snow covered noon-ish time would be the worst case scenario as it makes everything seem flat. Could have looked wayyy better with RT/PT, but alas, we are probably a generation away from that happening on Sony titles. Also the game has that going back in time mechanic, if that's all the time? I have no idea.
This isn't the regular game, 'miike mode' is turned on. Camera is too close, too much shake, and blood explodes from enemies.Looks good, but I'm not a fan of the screen shaking when running. Hopefully it can be disabled.
Ubisoft formula is so tired by this pointI loved the first game. At this point I think I am just tired of these open world games where you mostly just travel from camp and camp and clear out braindead AI. She flings a giant chain at a dude and cuts him up, and the guy a few feet away doesn't even notice because his back is halfway turned around.
All these games have just started to feel the same.
It's the upcoming addition to sony current gen (actually last gen bullshit ) listLooks basic, simplistic, uninspired, flat, dated, and cheap.
How this game took almost 5 and a half years to make is beyond me.
