I was thinking something like Hyperdimension Neptunia. That looks dumb as hell.
Make Jeff play through Lightning Returns.
It has the FFX-2 style open world roaming and dress sphere stuff (called Schemetas I think), with none of its light and silly tone (game is dead serious). It has tons of Chocobo based platforming that is bound to remind him of Yoshi. It has the Majora's Mask style of real time gameplay, except you can't rewind, and it has a Ygdrassil.
Game will break him.

Echoing a previous post of mine, but hoping for a Sleep Is Death stream.
With Austin as GM and Vinny/Alex as player I think that would be gold.

Currently doing my first playthrough of Re;birth1. It's extremely dumb (in a way I enjoy though). Also very easy to cheese through.

yeah the gameplay isn't much to write home about, but the characters and writing are so charming it doesn't really matter.

i actually tried this out with a simplified arcadey flight sim (i forgot the name of it, i know drew played it on the site) and after 40 minutes of beating my head against the wall i managed to get kind of off the ground
I have to give him credit for not making the logo look like a nightmare. That's actually a decent interpretation.
