The hair does change. I can confirm it. I never played much of the first game but 2 seems like it's a huge improvement from what everyone is saying. The last great DBZ game was Tenkaichi 3 in my opinion.
i have no idea when i started watching. Definitely wasn't here for Arrow Pointing Down because I knew sweet fuck all about Gamespot before Giant Bomb.

I followed GB from the beginning, but not regularly until, 2011 or so. Went premium for MGScanlon and Demo Derby.

Edit: I liked T2 better as a kid, but have come to appreciate the first more as an adult.
They basically weren't jumping up and down for joy for the 3 big announcements and people took that to mean that they hate Sony and everything they stand for.
Come on now, that's not exactly true. The people angrily complaining about them being jaded were way over the top but even GB thread regulars pointed out the guys were being kind of salty. Brad's bitter "waste of resources" rant about SE doing the FF7 remake was pretty silly.
Atleast those 3 titles showed all of us in the end
All those games are going to be bad.
They're pretty high on both the campaign and the multiplayer.
Anyone who's known them for a while knows that most of them did not care for Shenmue or FF7. I don't know what they were honestly expecting.

Funny thing is how accusations of Giant Bomb hating Xbox/PC/Sony/Nintendo changes every day of the week. Right now it's Sony for the VR stuff. After the Bombcast, it'll be Nintendo for the Switch.

That's what funny to me. People say they hate Sony, are Xbox and PC shills, but their goty last year as Mario Maker.
Saw Alex tweeting about Bethesda's new policy of not sending out review copies until the release date. Not quite sure if I'm for or against it, tbh.
Like, I almost never read reviews anymore. IMO they are as close to unnecessary as they've ever been. Especially with GB - a Quick Look + a score is pretty much all I would ever need.

Gives them an extra two weeks to fix the really egregious shit before the reviews start coming in. I'm sure it'll save them money over actually releasing an acceptable product.

Where can I find transcribed bits of how Giant Bomb came to be? Like, the creation of the site, how Vinny, Ryan, and Brad left Gamespot to help make Giant Bomb? The creation of the site is fascinating because it's rare that someone who gets fired ends up becoming bigger than the company that fired him.
