Well, Planet Earth II is looking amazing.
Good thing too cause we kinda ruined Earth I already. When can we move?
Well, Planet Earth II is looking amazing.
Yeah but what's the score
I thought hardware was supposed to get scores
Why is Alexis playing if he feels sick? Just stop dude.
I don't know how sensitive Jeff is to frame rates, but I feel like the difference is more significant to people that are. Digital Foundry is really the place to go for a product of this nature.

Quick Look: 100ft Robot Golf
We grab some Corgis, some robots, and some McElroy brothers to hit the green... and each other.
"Clueless CNET". Stop being so predictable Gaming side. They don't know Bakalar by name yet, though.
Robot Golf doesn't seem funny, which is probably the harshest criticism I could level at it.

It's an interesting scenario because the CPU is only overclocked a bit over the original, so only games that are significantly GPU bound will end up seeing a bump from say 30 to 60. I don't know how many titles are so GPU bound on consoles. It's common on PC with CPUs that are orders of magnitude more powerful but the consoles are more balanced in that regard. However, I do expect more stable target framerates though due to the overclock and the extra GPU grunt as long as they don't overdo the visual enhancements.

The cnet talk in the PS4 Pro thread is painful.
Also on a TV that's in vivid mode with the soap opera effect.
Nah, it was better. They never claimed they knew what they were talking about on the Beastcast. But it was still pretty bad how uninformed they were. Especially since they were at the actual reveal in person. Not as painful as the PS4 Pro talk on the last Beastcast which was no better than the garbage coming out of IGN three years ago.
I've often watched movies at my friends houses and they put on some terrible DVDrip and when I asked them about it they say its great looking.
Robot golf seems like an inside joke that went too far
Well, it's from the same people that brought you RoundaboutIt really does feel like a game jam game that they decided to charge for. It barely even looks finished in spots.
Crooked CNET lying about the PS4 Pro. Sad!

I would say GBeast is way more interested in the gameplay aspect of games as opposed to the graphical fidelity. Bakalar included. I think the major issue is how uniformed they are when covering stuff like this. I will agree with the idea that you don't really need to pick up a Pro if you are perfectly fine with playing on 1080p and aren't adverse to or aware of lower frame rates.

Anyone who disrespects my friend sonny is an enemy"Clueless CNET". Stop being so predictable Gaming side. They don't know Bakalar by name yet, though.
I love the man but Vinny is a bit of a graphics whore.
But as somebody who is similarly a "common man" when it comes to things like graphical fidelity, an eye test from Backalar is way more useful to me than a huge technical analysis from Digital Foundry. I think a lot of people in the review thread just can't accept that these reviews are serving different audiences.
narrow, referential humor on top of what looks like a bad golf game
in stores now
narrow referential humor on top of a bad pax wrestling gimmick seems to do alright
