Not a classic patch, but a free content update. But if they have digital copies, that's already in there (and it's minor, anyway), so that doesn't clear up the 'Unfinished' thing.

Jeff's hair matched the original GamePro icons better. I went for folks who had photo reference to match the enthusiasm levels at hand.
Yeah that's true, still rad all the same though.
The opponents in Punch Out are 100x more iconic than Little Mac. Punch Out Mike Tyson would be the best Smash character.
He really liked MW2, but he's been progressively more critical about the series with every entry. Ghosts got 3 stars.

This went exactly like I expected a QL of Smash to go. Dan is the only fan of the franchise on staff. Jeff's yawning got a bit annoying though.

Uhg, the Smash Bros Unfinished is painful. Jeff's blatant dismissal of competitive Smash is so incredibly frustrating. He says competitive Smash players are crazy when it's clear that he's never tried to play the game in any sort of competitive matter. And him calling for health bars is crazy. Okay yeah, Smash just isn't for the Giant Bomb guys.

Never really has been (Jeff liked the first one, to be fair). I remember his dismissals of the competitive Smash community blowing up a bit at one time.
I could not care less about competitive smash bros., but I think it's pretty annoying too. I'm not sure why he seems to care so much about "sticking it" to the competitive smash community. He always bring up how smash is not a ~*real*~ fighting game anytime anyone mentions it.
They very recently had new games, I guess.
I thought it was pretty decent, actually. Always expect the worst when it comes to Nintendo QLs, then you're less likely to be disappointed.
Anyway, I'll be playing the Smash demo till UPF starts. Can't get over how smooth this runs!
Eh, as long as they don't cut regulars I don't mind. I think they made some fantastic (and long overdue) additions this time around.

Yeah, its clear he was never really that high on Smash to begin with but for him to outright call competitive Smash players crazy just came off as naive. Although to be fair I follow competitive Smash and play a lot with friends so I'm kinda biased on the matter.
Also yeah, Dan likes it, I should have started as a competitive game Smash isn't for the Giant Bomb guys.

The funny thing is I also play League so it's like a double dose of negativity when MOBAs come up because Jeff hates the genre and Brad isn't a fan of League haha. Weirdly that doesn't bother me all that much though.
I don't think his "crazy" comments about the Smash community should be taken too literally either.
