How I play Smash against people who play it "seriously":
- Play as Kirby
- Suck up opponent
- Jump off stage

It usually works at least once and it's excellent every time.

My brother and I ran a Melee tourney once and ended up facing each other in the finals. After years of disowning any other Kirby players who did that, he pulled the ultimate heel move and used it on me to win.

If you get about 6 friends on a couch and pass around two/three controllers, Smash on N64 is basically the best thing ever.

At absolute worst case scenario, you may need to beat the boss again if the world state is dependent on that boss being dead (i.e. stopping the blizzard on the mountain), but that doesn't really need to be done often.

I thought it was great last week. Drew's games themselves might not be the best, but they almost always lead to the most entertaining discussion outside of the game. They're also things I never would see otherwise which is good.

One of Jeff's series that he's recently liked is the Call of Duty series. That's all I really need to say. Destiny has horrendous mission design but is a fuckton more fun to play with other people. I'm not taking his opinion seriously on games even if he's funny as fuck to listen to and watch.

Any game is fun with other people. That isn't proof of anything.

And Jeff has soured on Call of Duty as well. The last one he really enjoyed was Black Ops.

I've nearly finished Wind Waker for the firs time (completing my 3D Zelda's). I can confirm the game is absolutely fantastic and I am sad there is no Wind Waker 2.
