I bet most of those would be dead pretty soon. The Bosman Show thread is an exception though. I don't think any thread dedicated to a podcast would get much love on here, except maybe the Bombcast. Even the Idle Thumbs thread isn't that popular.

I resubbed and bought Mists of Pandaria (after previous getting Lich King and never playing through it) after the 30 Day Trial videos. I literally played it for like 3 days and haven't gone back.

Oh god I totally remember this demo disc. My brother and I would mock that Gundam game announcer all the time.
And the only reason why that thread exists is because the weekly IT threads were straight up dropping in post count by 50% each week post-revival.

I wish Rorie knew more about the lore and explained it all to Dan. I'm sure Dan would appreciate all the bullshit they have going on.
We all know that if you have see someone who looks like your friend (or in this case--someone you are obsessed with), you apply the "Bizaroo" moniker. So it would be Bizarro Drew. Problem solved.
As for that PC build... wow. I get the CPU cooler mistake, but that case looks incredibly modern for 1998. I know it's too late now, but I would have recommended going for a normal Core i7 (with a CPU cooler), thus getting an 1150 motherboard. With that saved cash money (honey), a modern case (with drive caddies and a filtered vent for PSU) could have been easily added to the build.
I guess if they're going to use that beast of a processor to do some encoding, then it makes sense, but it sure seems like a gaming-first PC.

Well, for one there would probably be hundreds of those discs and two getting a lot of those demos running on a modern PC/OS would probably be too much a hassle.

How does Rorie have no idea what's going on while playing WoW since foreverrrrr. I haven't played in forever and know what's going on with Garrosh at this point.

Blizzard is using multiverse stuff as their get out of jail free -card on this. The past Draenor in which Garrosh goes to cause all this mess isn't the past Draenor of the Azeroth that's in WoW. The just attack WoW Azeroth because Garrosh wants revenge.
Basically they don't just have time travel to draw new expansions from but infinite universes, too. There's always a lighthouse.
Rorie has always been pretty open with the fact that he has never cared about any of the lore, so it's not that surprising.
