Vinny has a superhuman instinct for how to escalate chaos
It's not that empty for too long. The death circle system keeps things interesting real quick. You might get lulls in battle but those lulls are filled with gunfire off in the distance or finding remnants of earlier confrontations.

Im so not ready for summer. This NE heat wave sucks, luckily it will be back in the 60 - 70 range Saturday, but these 3 days of 90+ remind me why I fucking hate summer.

I know, my concern is mostly how it'll feel after a number of sessions.
Initially I was genuinely shook after a round or two, but after the ten hour mark I would go at least four sessions a night. Definitely builds up nerves of steel after awhile.

Eh whatever, I haven't played so wouldn't really know. Probs grab it off steam sale.
My impressions mostly come from being really bored of the buildup in murder island. And then after the buildup most of the time they really just do nothing except die without a proper firefight.
Oh there's tons of that too, but the highs are so high it's worth it. The game really needs to be experienced. There's a GoG code floating around for it.

Summer is the best up here. Yeah it gets hot sometimes, but normally it's in the 70s-80s. And then you have outdoor concerts, the beach, music festivals, barbeques, lake houses...summer remains the best season
That depends on whether battlegrounds leaves early access this year, which I kinda doubt it will.
Gotta be better than Ohio summers. we tend to stay above 90F for most of it, hitting near 100F for a week or two in August. And it's humid enough it feels like going outside is like going for a swim with your clothes on in a stagnant puddle of water.

Nah it's humid as fuck here also. Spent a summer in Sacramento once, it was 120 and it felt great because there was no humidity.

Saw the DF vid on ARMS. I'm sold on everything except the gameplay, which still looks clunky to me. Maybe it controls better than it looks?

The people complaining about that were dumb back then too. Of course the new guy is going to be in a bunch of videos early on. They A) need the practice and B) have time. Also some of those videos probably wouldn't even exist if they didn't have another person.

You should watch every episode. It's a story heavy game and even the side missions are a ton of fun. You wouldn't want to miss it unless you want to play the game yourself first.
