Breath of the Wild seems like the kind of game I will slowly pick at for months and months but totally isnt the kind of game I can see myself playing in long sessions over a weekend.
Its just light enough in its mechanics and story that its probably super easy to put down and come back to in a few weeks. Thats not a bad thing. I remember taking a break in the middle for my 80 hour Witcher 3 run and it took a while to get back into the groove.
Also I dont hate the Joy Con grip and I have long as fuck fingers. So yay? Its not a "real" controller thats for sure. No d-pad was a bad move but I dont hate it like most people and dont feel a need to run out and buy a pro controller.

I'll watch EZA talk over the conference live then Giant Bomb later. They're both fun as heck.

It always feels like when someone talks crap about EZA or GiantBomb, they always seems like they watch one segment or portion of either group and make a terrible generalization as that is how they always are.

Wasn't that like 2 E3s ago? It was 2015 with the announcement of FFVII remake that still is long off and the freaking Shenmue 3 kickstarter. Somehow people are still upset.

Not really, last year there was a lot of shitting on EA deservedly so, a lot of mixed reactions and analysis of the other conferences and celebration from the Resident Evil fan for RE7 along with intense watching of God of War. That got excited at a couple of things a couple of years ago and it was fun, especially as I was there with them while quite drunk.
what was the most excited they've ever gotten watching a press conference anyway? I remember a lot of comments like 'that looks dope' or 'that looks interesting' but i can't recall a freakout off the top of my head.

Having perspective feels like a rarity. Corporations are not your friend. I wish people would climb over each other to drool over a piece of media after consuming it instead of before.
