Mario 64 should be like 5 lines above Sunshine. Seeing them so close together is a tragedy. I actually like Sunshine too.

Anyone having issues with streaming and watching videos using the mobile site? I have this weird thing where it'll loop random parts over and over. Sometimes it's just one loop, sometimes the loop will go for over 5 minutes. It happens on both live and archived videos.

I'm using the newest iOS version.

Magazines sometimes get advanced advance code to review from - or what is more likely, they sometimes gets special access at events to play through extra parts of the game than online press gets do. There is a chance Edge's reviews is from the recent preview events, but they got "behind closed door" access to the full game along with a few other select outlets

I dont think we'll see online reviews in the same timeframe as Edge's publication date.

Anyone having issues with the beta roku app? It was good for a while but now some recent videos just aren’t being populated on there. Like there is no upf, no sms, no playdate, but recent quick looks and bombcasts are all there. Not sure if it’s a premium issue or what.

Yeah, same with them never wanting to use the NSMB theme in all the hours of Mario Maker content they made for the site. There's so much gameplay potential wasted because of this.

Finally got around to watching the Noclip Witcher documentary, it's awesome so far, just like all the other stuff they've done. I know it's been said a hundred times but leaving Gamespot and founding Noclip was the best decision Danny ever made.

He loves 3D World, he just thinks that the fact that the game has multiplayer somehow makes it different (never mind that 3D Land and NSMB1 didn't have simultaneous multiplayer but don't count either). Nintendo wanted to do simultaneous co-op in 2D Mario as far back as SMB3, and in 3D Mario they tested it with SM64 but for technical reasons they couldn't make it work. I guess it also plays into that weird myth that NSMB and 3D World are multiplayer focused games when they're full featured single player Mario titles where the multiplayer is more for goofy fun than anything the games are actually designed around in any way.

If its one thing Ben currently annoys me

Is him getting things wrong. Hes a games journalist! Journalize!

Also it can be argued you can get an advantage in LoL because you can purchase champions faster than a pure f2per and have more options available each game.

He's not. They are not. This is not a dig at GB, they are amazing at what they do, but that is not a word to describe anyone on the current staff

This right here. I loved 3D World. It's a great game, when you play it single player. Playing that game Multiplayer is an exercise in patience and frustration 99.95% of the time. It is fun, but only in that you are having a good time with a friend, as opposed to both of you enjoying playing this video game.

I kinda feel like the quality of these docs has been directly proportional to how entertaining his interviewees are. The DOOM one was great. You have the history of the aborted Doom 4, and Martin is hugely entertaining to listen to. The others ones have felt kind of... underwhelming. The FF14 one was straight up bad, between the awful subs and lack of interesting subjects.

I liked the first Witcher one about the history of CD Projekt. The other ones have just felt kind of unstructured and random. They feel almost advertorial in nature, too. I understand that's the nature of the beast to some extent, since he's beholden to the whims of his subjects, but they're very fluffy. I don't know, I think it's cool he's getting to make these. People clearly enjoy them a lot, looking at his patreon. I just think they could be a bit more interesting than they are sometimes.
