Giant Bomb PSVR Launch Day Support Stream | Not what you're looking for

I wonder if there's a way for this to feel more inappropriate. Straight up schoolgirl hentai would feel less creepy, this is just "I want to leverage my position of authority to passively invade an underage girl's personal space".

Maybe the dialogue gives it better context
Really think you're looking too much into it. It's literally tutoring a girl.

This post is waaay creepier than the game.

Naw, people wouldn't pay money for that.

You know why people are buying this.
It's only as creepy as you make it. People turning it into something it's not doesn't inherently make the game creepy. The screen literally turns black if you try to sneak a peak under her dress.

Jeff said it best. It's as porny as you want it to be. You could say the same thing about the Sims. But of course, it's obvious why it exists and there's no denying that. I think people could still get enjoyment out of it without the porn angle though. Just as an exercise in AI interaction in VR.

There's something great about hitting shots from the other side of the table.

e: lol, Jeff just mentioned it as well.

I'd actually be interested in a Summer Lesson type game about training a boxer. You know, setting up their schedule. Holding up mitts and other mini-games of thesort. Sitting in the corner to watch the fight and give advice.

wario64 already playing rigs lol

Maybe if they removed the giant solid green background... sigh

Anyone in their chat point this out yet? I've tried tweeting them.

Yeah I don't understand why they film with the bright green background with jeff with his own lighting.

Since it just came up again.

Definitely. I recognize they did some minor changes, but seems they still aren't aware of how to deal with this technology. I can almost guarantee it's why Jeff is having problems at home but claiming it shouldn't be having problems.

Agreed.

I'm sure it's got issues but their various set ups are exacerbating some of them as evidenced by your screenshot. Given that they are still leaving green screens behind themselves (during the calibration for that previous game we saw a big green screen behind Jeff who's having the worst tracking problems of the two) I wouldn't be surprised if even at home they are making some questionable decisions about what light sources are in view of their camera. Especially since a few adjustments they've made have clearly somewhat helped their tracking, like finally moving the couch closer as Brad mentioned earlier.

Yes, the people who did 2 6-8 hour VR streams and do regular VR check-ins do not know how to handle this technology. Clearly.

They tried it in the dark. The issues still happened.

It wouldn't feel as awkward to me if there were actual mechanics or even some sort of perv objective, but it's a game where all you do is sit in a schoolgirl's bedroom. That's way more uncomfortable to me than a straight up hentai game.

It's odd, something is up with the whole tracking thing. Mine has been fine all day but there's no denying it's out of whack on this stream and I was worried after their stream last week too.

I hope it's not hitting the majority of users out in the wild as it's really a cool experience.

Pretty sure you can adjust that in the comfort settings.

He's repeatedly mentioned getting the same issues at home.

Repeatedly.

I imagine it's better than this was the first day, just like today's stream has been better, but still relatively unhelpful without seeing their home setup.

It has issues at times and can act up for no reason. Could be a firmware issue. Been using it it for over a week now

From what I've played of it it's actually more of her getting into my personal space.

Kind of unsettling.

So he has a big green screen behind him when he plays at home then?
If you're not going to make at least the tiniest bit of effort to see what I've described, then I'm going to stop responding to your hyperbolic posts. Go play your PS2 games with high-poly counts and modern shaders.

I brought it up last week, this week, and if they are still oblivious to the issue in studio then what makes you think everything is fine with the setup at his home? Do you live with Jeff?
What makey you think they haven't tried different stuff?
Half of the internet brought that stuff up last week...
